In general, what’s your ideal situation for someone to listen to your music? Definitely in the car; it's feel good music. I'm so glad to hear this!  I was hoping that the next album would be more fun and upbeat than GL. I love that album, but other than 'WTH', 'Smile', and a few other tracks, it's such a depressing record. |

I want more feel good mid-tempo anthems from Avril, like 'Complicated', 'Anything But Ordinary', 'Smile' & 'I Love You'. These songs are some of my top favorites from her. I'm really looking forward to her songs with The Runners because of that. Upbeat & uplifting songs from Avril. No more 'Girlfriend' & 'What The Hell' please.
Speaking of 'Smile', such a shame it didn't do well. In fact that song & 'Wish You Were Here' are among her best... Oh well :(

I loved Smile, but I think she needs to stay away from lines like "You know that I'm a crazy bitch...". That's not to say she can't swear in a song, it just comes off as immature from her, unfortunately. The "Damn" worked fine in WYWH, and when she uses "sh.it" it isn't as bad, either.

after the aproval of the Epic records, they need register all the songs at ASCAP, chose 1 or 2 singles and ... BAM!!! The era begins!
