I know there's no adds date yet, but GaGa confirms it herself in this video (0:36), so not locking this thread would be appreciated! Propagaga also reports: Lady Gaga is currently back in New York City preparing to shoot the video for “Marry the Night” this Monday, October 10th. The video is set to be filmed in Staten Island and is directed by Darius Khondji, Gideon Ponte and Gaga herself! Darius and Gideon have an impressive resume between them, including credits on projects such as the Golden Globe Award winning film, Evita, American Psycho, Madonna’s music video for “Frozen” and Gaga’s video for “Alejandro”.

Not feeling this as a single. Even worse than You & I.

Not feeling this as a single. Even worse than You & I. This is BY FAR the worst single she's ever released. I wouldn't be shocked to see it miss the top 20 all together.

I suppose I will be the first of people to comment positively. I love this song and it is, for me personally, a gem on the album. I see commercial potential in it (although it is not commercial by nature musically, although it fits lyrically) and know it is so much better than people on this board are making it out to be.
We'll just have to wait for its performance I suppose, I have a lot of faith in this release and am sure it has smash potential.

This song is not instantly ear-catching, which will be a boon to its performance. However, once you get to the second verse the song really starts to find its groove.

This is the first Gaga single release that I disagree with. I still hope Hair gets an eventual release.
If she is going to release a flop, I'd rather it be an exciting flop like HML or Scheisse. That said, I hope I'm wrong and this smashes.

I think this'll be a surprise top 10 hit or maybe even higher than that, but I'm kinda starting to see why this is getting some much negative feedback, especially from here on Pulse. I also think this is perfect for the winter season and, if everything is timed right and handled properly, this should be at least a top 20 minimum. Can't wait to hear it on the radio now, even though "You and I" has just grown on me.

Isn't she supposed to be releasing a remix album Black Friday Week? Wouldn't the radio version of MTN be from that and not the album one?

This definitely feels like a step down after the past two singles.
It's not horrible or anything, but it's not really interesting at all. I think it'll do top 15, not sure if it can go further than that.

This song is amazing, and I'm glad that it's finally being released as a single.

I LOVE this BUT I think it's a huge mistake. "Hair" should be the next single.

I think this will still go top 10. It's got a good beat.

Just not a huge fan of this. I never listen to it anymore. It just sounds so flat compared to the rest of the CD. But it was either go for something safe like this or "Hair" (the better option), or just throw the hits in the towel and release something more risky like "Bloody Mary" or "Bad Kids" (my favorites). I don't know why she wouldn't just take the risk though.

I think this song represents the whole album best. Agreed, along with Highway Unicorn.

I love this song and think it should've been the second single. I don't think it will do well at this point though.

"Bad Kids" next, please. I don't know, I love "Hair" and could see that doing well for her, but ... why not take the risk and release "Bad Kids" or "Scheisse" or something?

I can only assume she is still planning on releasing at least 2 more songs after MTN... a risky choice and Hair.

This is so bland.
Hair would have done much better. And my favourites were Scheisse and Heavy Metal Lover.

I would've preferred Bad Kids, Scheisse, or FOHL, but I still rather this be a single than all the others left. It still feels like the weakest single so far this era though. (10-15 peak?)

MTN >> Judas but that doesn't mean it is perfect for radio. I expect this to be a flop by her standards but it could still make it into the top 20 based on her name.
