Yes, this is a cover of the 1999 Madonna song from the Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me movie soundtrack. It was remixed to perfection by Victor Calderone.

I loved the original song the first time around. I preferred the Victor Calderone radio mix over the club mix as they were dramatically different. The radio mix was like a punched up, clubbier version of the original while the club mix was a lot harder and darker. I did like the Eastern sounding riff throughout the club mix which was so apropos given the types of sounds and influences on Madonna's then recently released album Ray Of Light. Interestingly, Victor had remixed the Middle Eastern-influenced "Desert Rose" by Sting around the same time as "Beautiful Stranger."
I think this remake is decent, but it's completely unnecessary given that the superior original does not sound all that dated even 12 years later. Melissa Totten manages to get some of the nuances and affects of Madonna's voice as she is an impersonator of hers and does shows, but she lacks that je ne sais quoi quality of Madonna's voice that only she possesses. But compared to some of the other horrid remakes of Madonna songs (e.g. Mad'House), vocally, she gets pretty damn close. Wayne & Andy's main mixes are built around some replayed elements of Victor Calderone's club mix (like the riff). The other remixes leave much to be desired.
A remake of Madonna's "Frozen" is also in the works with Melissa on vocals.
