America has over 300,000,000 people, so there are lots of people who don't have 21.

BOYLE*SUSAN THE GIFT 25,161 1 24,832 1,994,337 2 million next week? It's already way over 2 million. All of it's sales from Christian outlets are (obviously) not included.

Why aren't Christian outlet sales shown?

^ SoundScan are atheists? But I really don't know, I've never understood this policy either.

FLORENCE + THE MACHINE LUNGS 10,001 -43 17,687 841,414 BLACK KEYS BROTHERS 5,574 -5 5,852 883,217 I hope these two albums could cross 1 million sales over time They both will, no problem. Brothers is going to see a massive spike next week thanks to the release of their new album and it's large projected first week. It may very well sell the 16,000 and change needed to hit 900,000. Either way, still selling over 5,000 a week at this point guarantees it will cross 1 million later on next year. Lungs will get there as well, even if it takes until some point in 2013. Oracular Spectacular by MGMT is the smash alternative album that's gonna need several more years to get there. It's at right around 800,000 but down to 1,500 to 2,000 a week.

Yeah, I think all sales should be counted. Just like all radio spins should count. But oh well, you can't have everything you want lol

I was only kidding, but I guess that would make sense. But I don't get why they would count weekly sales but not in to date sales ???

^ Exactly- makes no sense if they include the sales in the weekly sums. It's been discussed a lot, and I was told a few months back that within six months, SS would include those sales in the to-date tallies.
Paul Grein even mentioned the discrepancies when Susan Boy's first album (I think) was selling, why the to-date total listed didn't match the weekly totals if you added them up, etc. etc.

Boy, the X Factor push didn't help Immortal- then again, MJ's other compilations have sold plenty in the past two-and-a-half years. Yay for Carole King reaching a new peak. Good for her. This album is doing about what I thought for her so far.

Here are the reported totals / real totals for albums where I've been adding up the weekly totals since they released.
