I agree...they took out her best parts: the verses...I like both so if they would have kept one it would have been fine. Honestly, I could have done without t.I. and six's parts....keep one and drop the other and add one of her verses...close to perfection personified.

I'm not surprised. Haha has made such an impact in such a short period of time...with that comes overexposure and media saturation...add the costume thing/art and there comes a time where ppl grow tiresome.
Her next era will be the litmus test to see if she can keep the momentum going after the peak- true test of longevity. All of the greater have dealt with it. Anyways, if this doesn't go top 10 will this be her first since hair wasn't an official single.

If Bruno were to gain 2 million a daily, and Rihanna began decreasing at a faster pace, it will take Bruno 10-12 days to overtake her in airplay. This isnt taking in account the freeze of course, which could negatively impact either artist.

I think the artist that will end up as the Christmas #1 will have to depend on its Itunes placement come Christmas week. WFL has remained fairly steady, but Bruno has been picking up steam as of late. He still has a ways to go, but he just really needs that one performance and he would be golden. If he had waited to perform the song at the X Factor Finale instead, this would be in the bag for him.

Lets not forget about Adele though. Even though her airplay is substantially lower right now, she's blasting off at Itunes. So there is no telling where her Itunes placement will be come Christmas week.

Katy Perry's 'Teenage Dream' Yields Sixth Hot 100 Top Five Hit

Not content with being honored as the Billboard Hot 100 Artist of the Year, Katy Perry continues to make her mark on the survey.

As "The One That Got Away" bounds 9-4, her "Teenage Dream" album becomes just the third in the Hot 100's 53-year history to generate at least six top five smashes.

The song joins the set's first five singles, all of which reached No. 1: "California Gurls," featuring Snoop Dogg; the title cut, "Firework"; "E.T.," featuring Kanye West; and, "Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)"

A complete rundown of this week's Hot 100's top 10 will follow today and all charts will be refreshed tomorrow (Dec. 15), as they are each Thursday, on Billboard.com.

NeRD, X Factor hasn't exactly been breaking ratings records, so I don't know if performing on the finale would have made all that much of a difference. Not like it's the Idol finale.

Still rather amazed at Katy Perry's numbers for a sixth single. After the run of singles from the album, it shouldn't be a surprise, but... it still is.

EDIT: Perry snags another top five from the album. Impressive.

On the Digital Songs chart this week, LMFAO reclaims the top slot with "Sexy and I Know It" rising 3-1 with just a bit over 149,000 downloads sold (down 5%). Last week's leader, Bruno Mars' "It Will Rain," falls to No. 4 with 129,000 (down 22%).

"Sexy's" 149,000 frame is the smallest at No. 1 since Beyonce's "Single Ladies (Put a Ring On It)" was tops with just under 149,000 in the sales week ending Dec. 21, 2008. Further, this is the second week the No. 1 Digital Song has sold less than 200,000 -- the first time we've had back-to-back sub-200,000 frames at the top since May of 2010.

Back in this week's top 10, Rihanna's "We Found Love" (featuring Calvin Harris), maintains its No. 2 position (just under 149,000; down 9%) while the "Glee" cast's cover of Fun.'s "We Are Young" debuts at No. 3 with 137,000. The original version by the band debuts down at No. 25 with 49,000 (up 1,650%).

Flo Rida's "Good Feeling" falls 4-5 (125,000; down 1%), Katy Perry's "The One That Got Away" rises 7-6 (117,000; up 24%) and Jay-Z and Kanye West's "Ni**as In Paris" slips 5-7 (108,000; down 5%). Perry's track benefits from a 69-cent sale price in the iTunes Store, in addition to buzz generated by her hosting turn on NBC's "Saturday Night Live" on Dec. 10.

Toby Keith's "Red Solo Cup" gains thanks to the "Glee" cast's rendition of the tune last week on the Fox TV show, as it rises 20-8 with 96,000 (up 90%). It's the first time the country star has visited the top 10. ("Glee's" version of "Solo" starts at No. 60 with 24,000).

T-Pain's "5 O'Clock" (featuring Wiz Khalifa & Lily Allen) slides 8-9 with 88,000 (down 7%) and Adele's "Someone Like You" moves 9-10 with 84,000 (down 10%).

Digital track sales this past week totaled 21.67 million downloads, up 5% compared to last week (20.67 million) and up 6% stacked next to the comparable week of 2010 (20.47 million). Year to date track sales are at 1.16 billion, up 9% compared to the same total at this point last year (1.06 billion).

Very odd -- I think after a year of a lot of huge hits, we are just fresh out of widely-appealing new hits. WFL is just coasting now. I think Adele is in a good position to have another #1 in January.

If you compare, sales overall are actually more than they were this time last year. They always experience decreases leading up to Christmas, then explode that week, collapse again, then return to normal in late January.

Its all just a continuous cycle really.

I think so, too. Since she has the only song that's really increasing notably on iTunes (besides Sleazy 2.0, which could end up being an airplay-less one-week wonder), she'll probably be in prime position to have the post-Christmas week smash.
