From #19: Letters From War/Mark Schultz
I cannot believe that Mark Schultz song is already gone from the survey. That is such a great song, and it's brand new. Don't tell me everyone's tired of it already! Oh well, maybe it'll return next week. I sure hope so. Of course, they only gave "Leaving 99" two weeks in the Top Ten (and false hope to fans of the song by debuting it at #7!), so who knows? At least it seems like they've fired the blindfolded monkeys who had been putting the chart together earlier this year.
And it looks like that song that Josh Groban sang is doing well. Notice I didn't say "remake". Because it isn't a remake. I think the members of Selah were the writers of that song - notice how there's an additional verse to the song that's not included in Josh Groban's version of the song. Anyway, it makes the longest leap of the week by moving 18-11 (Wow, this chart seems to resemble the March 6-7 chart of this year, with an 18-11 move and most songs below moving down a spot.
By the way, next week, I'm going to be busy on both Saturday and Sunday, so I won't be able to listen to the show, meaning I can't post the chart until at least Monday, possibly later, if the website doesn't update the chart right away. They didn't get the April 26 chart up until sometime today, since when I checked last night, the April 19 chart was still on the website. So if anyone who listens to the show could take notes on the show, then by all means, post the chart as soon as you hear the show. If not, then that's OK, too.
