So in terms of new music expected to come out in Q1 via the Year End Country Aircheck PDF this is what I got listed out (link for anyone who hasn't read it yet issuu.com/countryaircheck/docs/cap122021smaller?fr=sYWM2NTQzNzYwNjU. 1. New music soon from Ryan Hurd and Adam Doleac (don't know if that means impacting though as it doesn't mention radio) 2. Big Machine plans to launch Jackson Dean on a radio tour in January as his debut single "Don't Come Lookin'" impacts on February 22 (shipped January 24th) 3. New music from Kelsea Ballerini in March or April. 4. Lady A "What A Song Can Do" is supposed to be already impacting radio (it isn't) so I imagine that is impacting radio like real early in the year. 5. Jason Aldean will have a single impact radio from the second half of his album Georgia in January. 6. Jon Pardi will have a new lead single in Q1 once "Tequila Little Time" peaks. 7. Darius Rucker is expected to have new music in Q1 along with Little Big Town. 8. New lead Maren Morris single expected to be released January 7th and impact January 10th 9. New music from Kip Moore in January, and MCA is set to introduce Kassi Ashton to radio in early 2022. 10. Priscilla Block's next single is called "My Bar" and is expected to be released January 14th (probably impact date would be late January early February.) 11. New music from Caitlyn Smith as well in January 12. Triple Tigers will release an EP from new artist Jordan Fletcher and might introduce him to radio 13. Eli Young Band is expected to have new music and a song in radio in Feburary and Valory also plans to introduce new signee Tiera as well to country music. 14. Gabby Barrett will have a single released from the deluxe version of her debut album. 15. Kenny Chesney's next single is called "Everyone She Knows" expected to impact Feburary 14th 16. Elvie Shane is expected to have a new radio single from his debut album very soon If there's anything I miss please tell me. There is an ad in the year end edition stating Clay Walker is releasing next single "Catching Up With An 'Ol Memory" with Show Dog Nashville ad that also features Toby Keith and a new artist. That new artist is Kimberly Kelly, who signed with Show Dog Nashville this past spring. She’s married to songwriter Brett Tyler, who co-wrote “Old School” with Maren Morris and Ryan Hurd for Toby. Kelly is a traditional-minded singer-songwriter. |

One thing that does shock me is that there's no news on new Carrie Underwood music, with how long it's been since "Drinking Alone" peaked I figured she would have new music ready to go for country radio (I know she has released a Christmas and Gospel album since then but I figured she would have regular music ready to go). I think she will release deluxe version of My Savior first before releasing something for country radio, maybe in Summer? |

One thing that does shock me is that there's no news on new Carrie Underwood music, with how long it's been since "Drinking Alone" peaked I figured she would have new music ready to go for country radio (I know she has released a Christmas and Gospel album since then but I figured she would have regular music ready to go). I think she will release deluxe version of My Savior first before releasing something for country radio, maybe in Summer? *sighs* If that's the case I am gonna be a bit annoyed as I really wish the label would capitalize on the radio momentum from the Jason Aldean duet. |

It's 100% a guess, because she did re-release My Gift this year, but you can say Favorite Time of Year will be included in that album anyway, while there are no standalone songs that will be added to My Savior at the moment. |

Did it happen to mention in the year end print of country aircheck if Larry Fleet had a follow up single to “Where I Find God” coming out soon? His album is really good and several songs I could see being on country radio.

So a little bit of potential news for upcoming singles, KKGO has been playing Lady A "What A Song Can Do" this week. I don't know if that means it is going to radio but it definitely seems possible that all signs are pointing that way.
Also according to this tweet, UMG Nashville artist Catie Offerman is supposed to have new music in February (whether that means it goes to radio or not is yet to be determined)

But it is just as simple as creating a thread for the song, but song threads in the country forum are for confirmed songs going to country radio, so until it's confirmed that song is going to radio I wouldn't make the thread. |

Maddie & Tae's new song "Strangers" is gorgeous.  I think there's a decent chance it might be their next radio single given the timing of its release with their EP dropping in a few weeks and considering they haven't had anything at radio in awhile now since WYG flopped. |

Regardless, I hope he is going to release the follow-up single sooner than later before the momentum from Chasing After You fades away. This song is really good and his vocals on the chorus are just STELLAR. I would love for this to be his follow-up single. It really sounds like a hit, and more like the kind that will set him up for future success at the format and possible award nominations vs. a more forgettable 'safe' single that doesn't do much for his long-term career prospects. |

I still feel in my gut Ryan Hurd is destined to be a one hit wonder personally as I still feel like "Chasing After You" is a fluke. Then again I have never been impressed with the guy like everyone here is.

Lots of new artists in development I’m intrigued to see singles from (eg. Dillon James, Ashland Craft, Laine Hardy etc.) Speaking of Laine Hardy, he’s been touring literally non stop (over 100 shows in 5 months including a Monster Outbreak Tour) and is doing solid on streaming despite no radio play (I don’t think Buena Vista Records has a radio team) but he’s one I could see his label moving him to another label under the UMG umbrella when they’re ready to push him to radio after paying his dues, building connections and defining his signature sound (ala Adam Hambrick who was on Buena Vista).
I wonder why they didn’t send a single to radio for Danielle Bradbery and Ashland Craft. Both stars in my eyes, get solid Spotify playlisting support and have great streams (Stop Dragging Your Boots and Make It past Georgia are both smashes to me). I always thought they were doing the build up the streams to get leverage to then send it to radio for Ashland Craft kind of rollout but I haven’t heard any news.

Restless Road is the ‘National Spotlight Artist of The Week’ on the Bobby Bones Show this week. Does this mean the label is thinking of sending “Growing Old With You” to radio? I’m not sure how the ‘National Spotlight Artist’ thing works.
