Although on the Billboard and Mediabase, Martina McBride has not even had a top ten hit since Anyway in the latter years of the 2000’s, on the first edition of the PMB Country Chart she ranks supreme. She tallies votes from seven voters to be the only song to make it past twenty points. However, that is not the only change we had in mind for the first top ten of the new chart. Only two songs that rank in our top ten are in Billboard’s top ten. Following Martina, is a couple guys known for their niche fans and who are both growing in popularity recently (Brantley and Lee) along with (arguably) the two biggest females in the genre right now with their new songs (Taylor and Miranda). Sara Evans’ follow up to her biggest hit of her career starts the second tier of the top ten. It is followed by David Nail, who is enjoying the biggest hit of his career, the former it couple with their new music, and Eric Church, who is also enjoying the biggest song of his career. It is his latest song off the album Chief. The final five two of Scott Borchetta’s finds: EYB who just scored their first number one single on Billboard and Eden’s Edge, whose first single has had a LONG shelf life. George Strait is also featured with two artist’s novelty singles (Billy and Toby).

Hey all good to see some early voting!! Thanks to our admin for getting this stickied as well.
This post is just a heads up. Looking at tonights Billboard Country Update, Lady A - We Owned The Night and James Wesley's Didn't I went recurrent. Therefore by the rules listed on the 1st post, this coming Sundays edition of the PMB Country Update will be the last one they will be able to chart. Just wanted to give you all a heads up!
