I've always found these things to be ridiculous. It's like Now That's What I Call Music and things like the American Idol 10 Year Anniversary Collection thing. They often feature the songs that you've heard so much that you've already purchased, so buying an entire compilation of them is redundant, IMO.

Not a bad set of songs. Represents 2011 pretty well, actually. Except the biggest hit of 2011 is not there, PRA. Didn't expect it to be though...

Believe it or not, there was a time when you couldn't download songs or even buy singles for half of them, so collections like this were quite appealing.
But today, I don't understand the market for this very much. I'd guess this is the kind of album that gets 95%+ of its sales from physical CDs sold to people who don't buy much music.
