A remix of this (Timbaland's Groove Mix) was released as the 4th single from "One in a Million". It was released as a double A-side with a slightly reworked version of "The One I Gave My Heart To" in the fall of 1997.
This was the lowest charting single from the album. It only got up to #30 on the R&B Airplay chart.
I always feel like this song got the short end of the stick since it was released with a Diane Warren ballad. Both of Timbaland's remixes were hot. The album version of this has very similar production to the remix of "If Your Girl Only Knew".

Kiss. Kiss. And kiss.
This is one of my favorite Aaliyah songs. I actually prefer the album version though.

I love the album version. Feels very jazzy. The remixes were very hot, especially the Feel My Horns mix.
I miss Timbaland's jeep beats.

This was fantastic, as everything that Timbaland touched at the time.

OMG... this song + album. Perfection.
I also prefer the album version, but all the mixes were good.

I didn't like the album version, but the remix was great. I love the video for this one as well.

I prefer the radio/video version. They need to hurry up and release the rest of her discography to Apple Music.

The album version is one of the weaker songs on the album, but I love the remix.

Yeah, the album version is so weak compared to that remix.
This song is nothing without that "no no no" loop.

I feel vindicated by all this love for the remix.
Back when I ran the Aaliyah singles rankdown, I was shamed for preferring it by fans of the album version.

Guess I'm in the minority when I say that I never really mind the album version, but yes, the remix version definitely kick it up a notch.

The album version and the Timbaland Groove remix are two different vibes/moods. The former is something you play at a house party whereas the remix you play it in any kind of vehicle with a good sound system. Iβll admit the remix knocks harder.

I like both versions but agree the remix breathed new life into the song.
