I love the clapping/stomping sound in the clip! It reminds me of Adele's "Rumour Has It" meets Shania's "(If You're Not In It for Love) I'm Outta Here!"

"Why you gotta be so blind, won't you open up your eyes, It's just a matter of time till you find he's no good, girl. No good for you. You better get it going on your goodbye shoes and go, go, go. Better listen to me..." Just a little correction, I think the third to last line is..."You better get to gettin' on your goodbye shoes... I love the way the lyrics play with the wording....and where the emphasis falls like in .....'no good, girl' and 'get to gettin'on'..... I love the production on it. It's actually quite subdued for what the song could be.

Just wanted to make sure people here knew that I'm not perfect. Whew, glad that's out of the way.

Why'd they remove the Amazon clip...it's strange they'd put it up and take it down. Can someone PM it to me, I'd really appreciate it. Sorry, my keyboard is acting weird, that's why it's not punctuated. LOL.

I love how the lyrics are pretty much Cowboy Casanova pt. 2. It's my favorite song of hers.

I keep refreshing this thread hoping the song is somehow leaked. This is sad.

I'm going to be really happy w/ this, I think. Very expressive vocal, very groovy sound. Seems like it's going to be pretty different structurally for Carrie, too. The lyrics do what they're supposed to do.
I guess my one complaint would be that it does seem a little too similar to "Cowboy Casanova" thematically but I feel like those similarities will fade away once we hear this in full. I have a feeling the writers had a lot of fun flipping around the phrase 'good girl' and I'm expecting to hear a lot more of that.

"He's no good, girl" is just too disconnected with the title "Good Girl" it feels that the title was forced on the song. I'm certain the writers have turned phrase with good girl in different parts of the song, which makes me even more excited for it.

I think the title is quite deliberate and creative...I think the writers are entiltled to take some creative license, and I'm sure it's not the first time it's ever been done.

Does anyone think the first part is kinda blah? I hope that's not the chrous. I think it sounds like the bridge to me. But like we've said, it's only a snippet.

Lord have mercy. When someone finds something will they message it to me?! I'm dying here! haha! EDIT: Never mind. I found one! Loving it! Besides that little twang in the background, it sounds very poppy. <3

If this really is Shania-esque (haven't heard it yet), I will be massively disappointed. That would be headed in the wrong direction in my opinion (away from country).
