I've been trying to pick and order my singles, but I can't. I have at least nine songs I want as singles. I really hope they release at least six.
1: GG 2: BA 3: TBC 4: CGAS 5: WAW 6: OWT
I really love SYA, DYTAM, and, GIG as singles though.

Look for BA to stay on top of the Country chart for the next couple of weeks, but then expect it to move down for when Kenny Chesney releases in mid-June.

Alan Jackson's new album Thirty Miles West and Jana Kramer's self-titled debut are both out on June 5, and Josh Turner's Punching Bag and Edens Edge's self-titled debut also drop June 12 before Kenny releases on the 19th. Alan's last studio album opened with 72k and I think he'll do at least 50-60k in the 1st week for his new album. Not really sure about Jana and Edens Edge, but I could see anywhere in the 20-40k range for either of them, possibly enough to sneak ahead of BA for their first week. And Josh Turner's last album opened with 88k...his current single isn't as big of a hit as the lead single to that album was, but I think he'll still open with 55-70k at least. Kenny might be able to do 200k.

TBH, i'm worried about Lionel Richie's album more than other new release. Tuskegee is a monster. It's doing incredibly well.
At least Carrie locks her 5th week at #1 at least. :)

That'll surely help give her enough of a sales boost. She'll pass 500k this week, too! :)

Don't "sell" Carrie short yet. The single Blown Away is about to be released and just might bump sales a bit or at least keep them at a steady pace. jmo

"Good Girl" gains another 0.656 and moves past Kip Moore to officially #1! She shouldn't have any problem with holding that for the next couple of days as ZBB and Eric's gains are nowhere near hers, so it's looking like Carrie's got another #1 hit!

As per Manch at CF:
"OK all, here is the news I’ve obtained from sources at Sony. As all of you know, as far back as August of last year I have been talking about this mysterious “country ballad” that was going to be on the upcoming Aerosmith record. A Marti Fredrickson tune, the band recorded it back in Boston late last year. Now, Marti had lobbied the band for it to be a duet, preferably with a female country singer. But there was no immediate word if it would be a duet, or not. Subsequent tweets from Joey Kramer early this year stated “the album is all Aerosmith – no duets.” Well, he wasn’t lying. That’s because the “duet” part of it was done over the last few days under the cloak of secrecy. And now I can confirm, that the duet partner for this song is indeed Carrie Underwood! No less than 4 of my sources on this state, unequivocally, this song is a surefire smash hit across all genres. I also believe this is the reason why the Aerosmith album was delayed from May until Late Aug/Sept. Carrie has a new album out, and her label would not let her be on any other record until her promo was done. Moral of this story? You should NEVER doubt what AeroFANatic says! LOL. All kidding aside, what do YOU all think about this move? It’s sure to generate a LOT of heat on both sides of the aisle. But the way I see it, a good song is a good song…and the proof is in the pudding....."
I hope this is real, cause this would be pretty cool.

The single Blown Away is about to be released and just might bump sales a bit or at least keep them at a steady pace. jmo If you're talking to me, I'm not selling Carrie short. A new single will no doubt storm right out of the gate and help to sell albums, but it won't make that big of a difference. HITS is predicting what, 30-35k this week? That's pretty good, and I'm guessing with the various promo stuff plus the new single, that it will stablize somewhere in the 20-40k range for the next month or so. But that is below what Alan Jackson (June 5) and Josh Turner (June 12) will probably open with, and then of course there's Kenny releasing on the 19th. The only country release this week (May 29) was Wade Bowen's "The Given", and he's mostly a regional/Texas artist, so BA will be #1 for a 5th week when the country albums chart is published again next week. But after that, I think Alan Jackson and Josh Turner could each snag a week at #1 before Kenny spends a few weeks at #1. It will be tough for BA to return to #1 after that, since the Zac Brown Band also has a new album out on July 10.

Luke Bryan says some great things at the Billboard Awards about Carrie at 0:30 and 2:21. Glad someone else notes the Queen of Country Music in interviews. ![:-*](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/kiss.png)

Pretty safe to say Carrie will have the #1 single on Mediabase and Billboard this week! Her lead is substantial enough to provide a decent buffer for the next two days.

Any rumblings of radio dates for "Blown Away" yet? No one has even confirmed it as a single yet (right? at least, none of the radio sources that announce new singles), so not yet.

i read somewhere that if GG peaks at #1, she will be Female in Country Music that has most #1s. is it true?
If it's true, she's already a legend!
Plus, at least 2 more songs from this album will likely reach #1.

She's not quite reached even half of Dolly and Reba's number ones. Dolly holds the record.

I was speaking strictly of the country singles charts. I have no idea that if you factor in all of Billboard's charts (including digital sales) whether that paints a different picture.

I woke up today to "Forever Changed" playing on the radio. It was weird, I thought my CD was playing, I ran downstairs and my parents just had the radio on. I have no clue why the song was played, but it sounds absolutely stunning on radio.
The chances of it being a single are rare, but I think it would make a great single!

So, I gave this CD to my best friend to upload onto her computer. She was a fan of Carrie on Idol (and called her her "hot country bitch"), but is not a country fan so never bought her CDs or paid any attention to her career. She LOVES this CD and plays it all the time. Apparently, my 2 year old godson loves it too. Her favorite songs are "Blown Away", "One-Way Ticket" (I really can't see anyone not liking that song, honestly) and "Forever Changed". I'm not really here for FC but it's a nice song.

15 #1s to Carrie's name. Bows & weeps. So, I gave this CD to my best friend to upload onto her computer. Awesome to hear! :) Wow, Good in Goodbye just clicked for me. It could be a single. Finally, someone else sees the light. <3 This, Wine After Whiskey, and See You Again, are my 3 favorites on the album. However, the song is gorgeous and sounded very pleasant! Pretty, but it bores the shit out of me.
