HDD released a list with their best bets for lead categories at the Grammy and they didn't mention Carrie at all... Paul Grein's articles rarely mention Carrie. For example, his weekly's ChartWatch articles rarely mention the Hot 100 position for Blown Away even though it was much higher than most of the other songs mentioned.

One of my friends sent me this. It is so hilarious. Before He Cheats karaoke with a twist. lol Carrie will never  EDIT : OMG i want to bitch-slap this interviewer. So unprofessional. So rude. SO F**king annoying.  Carrie was too sweet and too polite that she's still doing and answering this interview's questions. And she even smiled. If i were her, i would put my shoes to his mouth |

He actually conducted a really good interview aside from his clear underhanded opinion of Carrie being a purely Pop artist. When she answered, "Yes, I'm a Country singer", his response was a little unattractive, he said, "I mean it is very accessible Pop" - kind of disregarding her feelings by saying her music can only be argued as Pop. Other than that, the questions were quite enjoyable.

You can tell he went to the interview guns blazing but put them down once Carrie showed she wasn't falling into his traps, and then the interview got pleasant... Carrie is fantastic and I'm happy to be a big fan of someone as down to earth and human as she is!!

It's such a pleasure following an artist who can step away from the stage and all the lights and lead the type of life that I can truly respect. I'm a huge fan. |

I thought that was an excellent interview as well, aside from the "pop vs country" part at the beginning. (I don't quite know how anyone could consider an album with songs like "Wine After Whiskey," "Cupid's Got a Shotgun," "Forever Changed," and "Leave Love Alone" a pure pop album.) Still, it was nice to see an interviewer who had actually done his homework and asked her some questions that she hasn't necessarily been asked a million times before. It's always nice to hear some "new" answers from Carrie. I don't know if anyone else has ever asked Carrie about her comments about being disappointed about the EOTY snub in 2010, but it was nice to hear her answer about that.

Wow!
That was a great interview!
I was stuck watching it and not leaving because it wasn't clear where he was going to go next.
Some tough questions but in a professional way. And Yeah, I also love Carrie but after hearing the first 3 singles I had the same questions : do you call them country or pop? :)
In any case this was an interesting, entertaining and deeper interview. I get tired of interviewers that just bow to guests and asks the same type of generic questions every time.
I like Carrie even more now :$

OMG... TWO BLACK CADILLACS looks A-MAZING!!! But then again, so did Blown Away when we saw the preview and the video itself was lackluster (imo, obviously)...
