Carrie was a CMT Artist of the Year, and received what I think was the only standing ovation of the night for her performance of "Two Black Cadillacs"... Yeah, she killed it, and was praised for her "out-of-this-world" voice, as Eric and Miranda so kindly said. She was also praised for her legs by Kenny Chesney, of course.
She had a great segment on the show, and it was wonderful to hear the kind words her peers had for her.

Great performance, much stronger than the AMA one. She reminded me why it's my favorite song on the record.

Carrie was phenomenal at the CMT Artists Of The Year show. Great performance and speech, and the comments from her peers were so fitting. We don't get to hear many people in the business talk about her, but they all seemed so sincere, as if they are genuinely glad to have her as a talent and as a person in this industry.
Mike was just adorable, and Carrie was absolutely beaming; Mike seems to have given her a boost of confidence. I've always felt Carrie was very mature and polished, even off Idol, but she seems to have taken it to a whole new level since marrying Mike. She seems so much more confident and comfortable with where she is in her life, and it shows. And, Hunter's introduction was just adorable, calling her "Miss Carrie Underwood." He seems so mature, and he's a cutie pie. I thought the whole thing was great, but Carrie's segment stood out for me. Beautifully done, and Carrie herself brought talent, class, and grace, as always. I loved it.

Wow Censor, those pictures are GREAT... I bought myself a camera for her Orlando concert, but the lens are interchangeable (Sony NEX-C3), and I'm afraid they won't let me in with it, so I'm taking my dad's (not so good) one... :(

I'd like to hear those demos too, if anyone can send them my way when you get a chance.
And I can't believe I missed the CMA AOTY special, but I watched Carrie' segment posted above, and she sounded flawless! She really is on her way to legend status.

My favorite part of watching the videos of the flying stage is looking at the size of the crowds. Incredible to see her pack the seats from the first row to the farthest back chair in the last row of the top rafters. Thanks, Censor!

RT @carrieunderwood @acainsider I'm so excited to be attending the #ACAs tomorrow night! I know it's going to be a great show!
Carrie will be attending tomorrow's ACAs! I guess I now have a reason to watch... I just wish they'd have her perform, I haven't a clue why not?...

She was just there to accept the awards that she won. I assume this year will be the same.

Does anyone have the writing credits on the demos? They're really great!! I would've loved to have heard final versions of Sugar Rush & Lie to Me Again.

Any chance we'll be getting a new album next year? I wouldn't be surprised if her label pushes her to release something in November/December 2013. If that were to happen we may only get 1 more single off "Blown Away".

If that were to happen we may only get 1 more single off "Blown Away". Doubt it... Carrie will be touring through a huge chunk of 2013, and she tends to take her time with albums. She doesn't typically tour and work on an album at the same time either, as some artists do. So I think if we're getting any new material next year, it'll be either a Christmas album, or Greatest Hits collection with some new bonus material. She's not done with the tour until late Spring, and who's to say she doesn't add more dates? That would leave only four months or so to make a new album due out in Quarter 4 of 2013, so that's probably not going to happen. Then there's the "Sound of Music" thing, which will take up quite a bit of her time in the second half of 2013, I'm sure...

Because Carrie tweeted about going to the show tomorrow, I bought some cheap seats. See you tomorrow, my queen! Any chance we'll be getting a new album next year? Nah. 2013 will be a strictly-set year for Carrie. With BA, she took her time and didn't abide by the usual every-two-year release, and it certainly showed, given the artistic and quality progression from PO to BA. Like carrieidol1 said, Carrie's touring from January to June, and she has The Sound of Music, which will surely take up a vast majority of her time. I'd say that there will be 2 more singles off of this album. They can really milk it for all its worth, and then Carrie will go back to work for a new album.

I really enjoyed that "Two Black Cadillacs" performance. There was a little treatment on her mic (I didn't see the other performance so I don't know if it was for the entire show or just her), but either way it was still a fantastic vocal. Made me enjoy the song 10x more.

"Lie To Me Again" should've made "Play On." "Sugar Rush" is a fantastic uptempo, and certainly stronger than "Undo It," "Songs Like This," and maybe even "Unapologize." "My Favorite Part" is really great, and I like "Lord Help Me" a lot. The only reason I can think of for cutting weaker songs like "Mama's Song", "Temporary Home" and "Undo It" over some of these is because Carrie cowrote them and felt strongly about putting them on the album. That said, it always baffles me when artists have a batch of really strong songs, and still include the weakest links; there was no reason OW should've been left off PO or BA, to be perfectly honest. I love Carrie, but I'm left scratching my head much of the time when it comes to her choices in material. She did pick some fantastic songs for "Blown Away," though, so as long as she continues to move forward instead of backwards in her artistic growth, it's fine with me. I just REALLY hope she can eventually put together a cohesive album with 13-14 strong songs; she can do it. More TBC and Blown Away, and less Nobody Ever Told You and Leave Love Alone next time, please, Carrie?? Well, you also can't assume everyone has the same taste/opinions. For instance, "Leave Love Alone" is easily one of my favorite Carrie songs ever.

Wow. Stunning performance. The energy she and the band brought was great, and really palpable. This shows she doesn't need to move a ton or have a lot of staging to be commanding. And those comments after the performance really moved me. I live for the day Carrie and Miranda finally do a real duet. Eric Church surprised me the most just in that I didn't know he liked her.
