I'm still stunned at how well "Temporary Home" has sold. It'll be another Platinum single for her. I'm quite disappointed with TH sales tbh. It's very very underrated. It should be at least 2 platinum right now. :kii:

Can this album reach 2 million or is that out of the question? I don't think it's out of the question. We're on single #3 with at least one more to go, and very likely two more. It needs to sell another 665,000 copies to scan 2 million. I believe Blown Away will be certified double platinum by the end of this year, and will scan 2 million sometime next year. I still have hope it can eventually outsell Play On, with the right promotion. I know certs are a bit ahead of sales, but with digital sales the gap isn't as big as it used to be. Plus BA is old at this point, so there aren't huge shipments going out anymore. I would bet the album needs to sell at least 1.9 million to get a 2x Platinum cert. So, what would its average sales need to be to hit that mark in 2013?

After 4 albums, and all the countless hit singles-- I really think, sonically, "Blown Away" is her MASTERPIECE single. Her delivery, emotion and pure fire in the vocals on the record really pull you in. Every person I've had hear this song gets chills and wants to know where it came from. Seeing her live this tour-go around was just the icing on the cake.
She's proven that if you stick to your roots and your gut, you will succeed. While I'd admit, the house music lover in me would love to hear her in a club one day and wishes that one day a few of her singles would get serviced to DJs, I am a huge fan of her from day-one. Proud of her.

Anyone hear anything about how Carrie's feeling? I know her voice was a little off the night of the AXS concert. Was her voice better the following nights of the tour?

What Else You Got (SH era) That's All Jesus Take the Wheel (demo where carrie sings the orginal lyrics "damn") Once upon a time, during the first year of the OFC, I asked about this version and she replied saying she had never sang a song with "that word" in it. I know Hillary Lindsey's version has "damn" in it, but I don't think there's a version out there with Carrie's voice on it.

She did use the word "damn" singing So Small at the Songwriters event, last year, didn't she?

She did use the word "damn" singing So Small at the Songwriters event, last year, didn't she? She did. I believe she also said "ran like hell" in DYTAM last summer in concert. But like I said, this was the first year of the official fan club. So things have changed.

UK radio interview:
And apparently she mentioned working w/ a vocal coach for The Sound of Music during another radio interview that's yet to be posted online. It'll be interesting to see how that affects her technique.
