She sounds insane on the AXS show tonight! Pretty hear surreal to hear/see how she's far she's come.

HGTA didn't go over too well, understandably after all this singing... But so far this has been amazing!

She was emotional at the end which is why the big notes were not done like usual I think it was a mix of both, to be honest. She hesitated on the last "great"... Maybe emotions had a part, but having sung before, it was clear her voice was a little too tired for that note. The emotional part of it, though, made it perfect anyway! She did something similar with the climactic 'know' in "All-American Girl"... I don't blame her though, after all this singing it's a wonder that she can sing at all!

She was definitely sick tonight. You could hear it in her voice when she sang lower notes, like the verses in "See You Again". However, she was incredible for the most part, and her high notes were flawless as usual. She didn't even attempt the big high notes in "All-American Girl" or "Blown Away" (and the aforementioned "How Great Thou Art"), so that's how I know for sure she was sick.
Still, an absolutely amazing show. I watched the live stream set up by @cunews4fans, and I can't wait to download a HQ cap. Hopefully they're able to pro-shoot a few more shows when Carrie isn't sick, if they have plans for a DVD.

Saw this posted at carriefans, nice HQ video of "See You Again":
She's not quite en point vocally in the more delicate/lower parts of the song but if she was sick today, she probably wasn't in perfect health yesterday either. Plus she's only just started singing it live, and usually it takes Carrie a little while to settle in and find the perfect live rendition of her more challenging songs and figuring out where to catch her breath. SYA is really a tough song, with the belted high notes, the low range, and the delicate whispery part all mixed together in a short amount of time.

^Not only that, but she sang it right after "Flat On the Floor", one of the breathiest songs in her catalog, without any real pause in between the two.

Having seen this makes me want a concert DVD even more! It's a shame that the only show to be aired live was the show in which Carrie's voice was not at its best. She was still great, but it was obvious her voice was either tired, or she was sick...
Notes that usually come easy were strained, and she even omitted a number of high notes throughout the show - which I don't think she has ever done? Hopefully they come out with a DVD where Carrie's voice is in tip-top shape! The quality, however, was AMAZING!

What was the setlist for the AXSTV special?

Does anyone know if there were signs at the show last night, letting the audience know it was being filmed? There's been cameras filming previous shows too, but people have speculated that they wouldn't be able to use that footage for a DVD since there were no signs up about filming.

Awesome! I'm seeing her tour again in April. I saw it last October. Nice to see she's changed the set list a bit so it'll be a little different!

Unfortunate that she was sick for the concert that was aired live...
I REALLY hope for a DVD release filmed when her vocals are in top shape...
Aiden, the night you went was she able to hit the high notes she omitted last night?

Aiden, the night you went was she able to hit the high notes she omitted last night? 100%. In my opinion, the night I saw her was the best I've ever heard her live before, and that's a lot of shows to compare that statement to. Some videos as proof from the Vegas show... "Good Girl""Blown Away""Last Name""I Know You Won't"I legitimately wouldn't have guessed that she was ill/affected by allergies. Even during the meet and greet, she looked and sounded perfectly normal. She was on point on Saturday.

It must have progressed throughout the show Sunday then, I wouldn't be surprised if she's coming down with a cold or something...
Same here, every time I hear her live she's impeccable so I was shocked to hear her purposefully omit notes from some of her biggest songs - which tells me she's actually sick. I hope she gets better soon!

Hopefully Carrie is able to rest up and relax at least a little during her break in the middle of this month, between the New Mexico date and her trip to Ireland/the UK. After watching a few more HQ videos of the show last night, I can't tell if she was actually sick or if she had just strained her voice. Usually when she's sick, it's more obvious when she's talking than it was last night.
She also sounded absolutely flawless on Wednesday at the CRS event - I didn't notice any vocal problems at all. In fact, she sounded better than ever that night. Could she perhaps have strained her voice during Saturday's show in Vegas?

Once "Blown Away" passes 2 million in 2-3 weeks, that will give Carrie her third single over 2 million, right? What other country artists have done that?

Carrie will get her 3rd and 4th Double Platinum singles later this month. It's hard to say whether "Blown Away" or "Cowboy Casanova" will reach 2,000,000 first.
My estimate is that Cowboy Casanova is at 1.993 million right now and is selling at a 3.0k-3.5k weekly rate.

Can this album reach 2 million or is that out of the question?

Can this album reach 2 million or is that out of the question? I don't think it's out of the question. We're on single #3 with at least one more to go, and very likely two more. It needs to sell another 665,000 copies to scan 2 million. I believe Blown Away will be certified double platinum by the end of this year, and will scan 2 million sometime next year. I still have hope it can eventually outsell Play On, with the right promotion.

I'm still stunned at how well "Temporary Home" has sold. It'll be another Platinum single for her.
