Released in 1972 from the album of the same name. Produced and co-written by James Brown. So many artists have sampled this song, including Janet. It was notably sampled in the Rob Base & DJ E-Z Rock classic "It Takes Two".

What Mariah song sampled this? I wasn't aware she ever did. Janet sampled it multiple times. This is one of the most sampled songs of all time. According to WhoSampled, it's been sampled somewhere around 450 times.
This was her biggest hit, going to #9 R&B in 1972, but it obviously made way more of an impact with all the samples.
It's not great quality, but this is one of her final performances (if not the final performance) of the song before she died less than a month later in February 2005.

It was sampled in the remix to "Heartbreaker", according to Wikipedia.

"Heartbreaker (Remix)" never sampled this song. Snoop Dogg's "Ain't No Fun" sampled some of Lyn's vocals from this song.

A classic. Definitely the song that cements Collins's place in pop culture history. I enjoy it.
