Artist Spotlight:
Jeremy Camp
Well, I'm glad that they've brought back the Jon's Future Favorite even though they're still promoting the latest CD by the Newsboys with the Past & Present feature. This, I believe, is the last week of that, so maybe next week we'll hear the full version of Jon's Future Favorite, as he only played a drop piece of the new Tree63 song, which I find a lot better than "Blessed Be Your Name", a song that I think is OK, but it got way overplayed and I didn't really like it all that much in the first place. I hope "Maker Of All Things" does a good job on the chart, too because, as I said, I like it.
As for the rest of the chart - pretty boring. The biggest jump up is the new Joy Williams song. That, along with the new song by ZoeGirl, are both racing up the chart pretty quickly. Will one of them take the crown away from Jeremy Camp? We'll have to wait and see. We can't count out the Chris Tomlin and Bebo Norman songs. They still have a chance at the top spot. It could be a rather interesting race.
