The album is outstanding even though there are definitely NO hooks that measure up to STIUTK. I'm also hoping RHI becomes a beast. Gotta say, I just don't get We Are Young. I think We Are Young is connecting so well, because it's walking the line between pop and alternative. It's got this EPIC chorus that people can easily attach to, because it feels triumphant and feel-good. Radio listeners seem to eat up feel-good, party-friendly songs. On the other hand, it's kind of a slightly darker, more emotionally nuanced song, lyrically, than the chorus would have you believe. So I think fans of more sincere music and songwriting can appreciate that, as well as the fact that it doesn't quite fit the mold of what radio has been playing in recent years. It's different enough that non-pop fans can get into it. It's just a really balanced song that has crossover appeal. That all makes sense and I have no issue with it being so huge, it's nice to have an alt-based song do this well. It's just not connecting with me, I guess haha.

"We Run the Night" only has a seven-day-rolling gain of +97, and pop is the only format where it's in the top 50., so it's kinda limited as to how far it will go at the moment.

Rolling In the Deep is gonna go recurrent on the Hot 100 this week, isn't it? Most likely. Someone Like You might also go recurrent this week since it's #48 already. Epic run for both songs

Rolling In the Deep is gonna go recurrent on the Hot 100 this week, isn't it? Yes, most likely. But due to the rule change that occurred after Whitney's death, that doesn't mean that will be its last week. If it gets sales boosts in the future from random promo (adverts, being used in a singing competition ect...), it will be able to re-enter the top 50.

^It has a 7-day-rolling bullet at AC radio- coupled with it holding up alright at pop and Hot AC, that could account for its airplay showing.

Yes- and I was thinking as much when I first bolded it, but was concentrating on ensuring that all others listed were bolded appropriately.
Will fun. get to No. 1 on BDS airplay by Wednesday? It had 104 million BDS audience last week; not sure of last week's BDS total for "Stronger."

Adele is coming....again. While I hope it does, I don't think it will hit #1. I feel like so many people have the album that the downloads won't match the airplay. I think it will hit top 10 though!

I think Rumour is a surefire top ten and likely top 5. I don't know if I see it hitting number one this far into a massively successful era though.

Kenny Chesney, Tim McGraw's 'Rock Star' Roars Onto Hot Country Songs April 09, 2012 By Gary Trust, New York Kenny Chesney and Tim McGraw rocket onto Billboard's Hot Country Songs chart, as "Feel Like a Rock Star" debuts at No. 13. In its first week of availability, the song received airplay on 126 of the chart's 131 reporting stations, generating an audience of 22 million, according to Nielsen BDS.
The start marks the second-highest since BDS-monitored data began powering the chart the week of Jan. 20, 1990. Over that 22-year span, here is a look at the list's highest entrances. Notably, Chesney boasts three of the select nine top 20 arrivals (as does Garth Brooks):
No. 1, "More Than a Memory," Garth Brooks, Sept. 15, 2007 No. 13, "Feel Like a Rock Star," Kenny Chesney & Tim McGraw, April 21, 2012 No. 16, "Don't Blink," Kenny Chesney, Sept. 8, 2007 No. 17, "The Boys of Fall," Kenny Chesney, July 31, 2010 No. 17, "Once in a Lifetime," Keith Urban, Sept. 2, 2006 No. 18, "Good Ride Cowboy," Garth Brooks, Oct. 22, 2005 No. 19, "I Saw God Today," George Strait, Feb. 23, 2008 No. 19, "The Thunder Rolls," Garth Brooks, May 18, 1991 No. 20, "So Small," Carrie Underwood, Aug. 18, 2007
As for a potential predictor of future success after such a lofty launch, all of the songs above peaked at No. 1 on Hot Country Songs except for Urban's "Lifetime" (No. 6) and Brooks' "Cowboy" (No. 3).
"Rock Star" additionally arrives as the highest-bowing duet between two co-lead artists in the chart's BDS-era history, besting the No. 31 starts of Brad Paisley and Urban's "Start a Band" the week of Sept. 27, 2008, and Alan Jackson and Jimmy Buffett's "It's Five O'Clock Somewhere" (June 21, 2003). Both songs eventually reached No. 1, while the latter track went on to spend eight weeks at the summit, a reign that tied the song with Lonestar's "Amazed" (1999) for the chart's longest command since 1966.
Chesney and McGraw premiered "Rock Star" on CBS' April 1 telecast of the 47th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards in Las Vegas. Chesney's label, BNA, serviced the song to country radio stations during the festivities. "Rock Star" previews Chesney's 15th studio album, Welcome to the Fishbowl, due June 19. The song was released digitally at midnight April 2 and is set to debut on Billboard's Hot Digital Songs chart this week.
In addition to Chesney and McGraw's grand chart entrance, Lee Brice ascends to his first Hot Country Songs No. 1, as "A Woman Like You" rises 2-1. Brice had previously peaked as high as No. 3 with "Love Like Crazy" in 2010. The song set the record for the longest stay (56 weeks) in the chart's 68-year history.
All charts, including Hot Country Songs and Hot Digital Songs, will be refreshed Thursday (April 12)
