Track #2 on their last studio album Forever, this was released as a promo single and was thought to be the next single from the album after "Holler"/"Let Love Lead the Way", however it was never given an official release. This was a hot song that was pretty clearly written about Geri. The main reason I'm creating the thread is that I wanted to ask this: Does anyone think the voice in the background sounds like Britney? I know Darkchild worked with both of them in 2000, and he put MJ's vocals in the background of a Brandy song after working with both of them, so I was kind of wondering if that happened here. Probably not, but it really sounds like her!

Darkchild (Rodney) did great on this one, but for me, it's all about the EPIC Thunderpuss mix (Jonathan Peters did one too). The TP mix is like a rollercoaster, an absolute monster. I got to talk to Barry Harris once (1/2 of TP) and he said they worked hard on this one! It showed.

This song should have and could have been huge. It stayed fresh sounding for a while too.
As for the Britney thing, no I don't think so. Probably just someone that works with him.

One of the best songs on Forever.

This was not good. I didn't like their work with Rodney at all, aside from "Holler."

Forever had it’s moments and this was one of them. The whole album didn’t age well unfortunately.

This song is pretty good. The production reminds me of something off of Michael’s “Invincible” I purchased this cd back in the day and paid it dust. Maybe because it flopped…? In the last few years I started to get into a few tracks from it. I absolutely LOVE “Get Down With Me and Waisting My Time”. Last year I was listening to them like they were brand new tracks.. There’s other tracks I like from the “Forever” cd too. It wasn’t nearly as bad as I thought it was back then…
