I know the 1946 recording of "Shaving Cream" by Benny Bell and Paul Wynn, but do you remember a later version of "Shaving Cream" done by a group called Gruesome Three? It appeared on a mail order record album set called "Silly Songs" released by Imperial House, this version of the song is also available on iTunes.
