I woke up late for the show on Saturday morning, tuning in at number 18. By the time they got to the Top Five and I hadn't heard "Voice Of Truth", I figured that maybe it took a big drop. But when I heard John David Webster at #20 and Joel Engle at #19, then it was confirmed that Casting Crowns had dropped out. The question is, why? I can see SonicFlood falling off the chart from #10 since that's heading down the other Christian AC charts at a fast rate, but "Voice Of Truth" is still in the Top Ten! I'm wondering if CRW installed some sort of a recurrent rule. Probably not, since several songs have fallen off from the Top Ten this year(including "You Are God Alone" by Phillips Craig & Dean), yet Steven Curtis Chapman's "Much Of You" dropped out of the Top Ten even though it had been on for 29 weeks. Unless the limit is 30 weeks. We'll have to see what happens with "Take You Back" by Jeremy Camp and possibly "He Will Carry Me" by Mark Schultz, but I have a feeling that the latter of the two will drop out before it hits the 30-week mark. Then again, who knows?
