Italian producer Giuseppe Ottaviani and New York-based singer Betsie Larkin have a new seductive treat for the trance masses. 'Toys' is the deep, melodic tune to keep you going in the night.
Part of VANDIT's league of talented producers for over 10 years, Giuseppe Ottaviani has clocked up a heavy-weighing discography, bursting with highlights. From his debut album 'GO!' to the tunes of 'Through Your Eyes', 'No More Alone' and collabs with Paul van Dyk and John O'Callaghan. With so many years of experience, it's no wonder that his collaboration with rising vocalist Betsie Larkin is another example of what a quality trancer should sound like. 'Toys' hits in deep, rocks us high and moves us throughout the day.
While the Club Mix leans towards the proggy edge of trance, the On Air remix heads straight for trance bliss and the Rock It mix is the strong and contagious rock interpretation of this winner.Tracklist 1. Toys (Club Mix) 2. Toys (On Air Mix) 3. Toys (Rock It Mix)

So pretty. I didn't expect it to sound trance since Giuseppe doesn't normally produce trance music.

^^^Ottaviani's style is more like a combination of progressive trance and his remixes is more like a Paul van Dyk sound. One of my favorite remixes is the one he did for Filo & Peri featuring Eric Lumiere called "Soul and the Sun". Filo & Peri feat. Eric Lumiere - Soul And The Sun (Giuseppe Ottaviani Remix)www.youtube.com/watch?v=UiLPAlUR8V0He also does some pretty cool easy listening/ambient style like in the song "Angels".

^ Oh you're right. I'm confusing him with a house producer who has a similar name to his!

^^^Yes the other Giuseppe is Guiseppe L who's a house producer/remixer. He did remixes for Ellie Goulding, Rihanna, Chuckie, Sak Noel, etc.

Pretty song. Betsie's vocals are very beautiful as usual. I'm listening to the On Air mix and I think that one's my favorite version. More trancier than the version in the video. I miss when Giuseppe Ottaviani was Nu NRG with Andrea Ribeca. They split up in 2005, I think. I miss their energetic, uplifting trance style they did together. Does anyone remember this trance classic from 2001? www.youtube.com/watch?v=4dXVP2Xuwb4

I remember Nu NRG was discovered by Paul van Dyk. Nice to see on that youtube video of Nu NRG's "Dreamland" it has zero dislikes.
