Life doesn't always turn out to be the perfect paradise we're hoping for. But while we're dreaming, it's the voice of Emma Hewitt that'll keep us going. With 'Miss You Paradise', the second single of her debut album, she takes us to an all-time high.
The astonishing success of her first solo single won't be easy to match. But the second jewel to rise from her 'Burn Down The Sky' album is just as refined and delicate as the warm 'Colours'. A strong and catchy tune unfolds, as soon as 'Miss You Paradise' kicks in.
Blending the influences of rock, pop and ambient, while carrying the weight of Emma's strong vocals, it's another bit of paradise you just have to discover.
Next to the enchanting original, there's several remixes for the electronic dance lovers. One of Emma's favourite producer, US producer Shogun, was invited to bring out the emotions of 'Miss You Paradise' and turn it into a heart-rending, warm trancer with heavy impact. For the house junkies, there's the highly inflammable Morgan Page remix, with electro stabs and a deep, proggy touch to it. Tracks:Miss You Paradise (Shogun Remix) (07:37) Miss You Paradise (Shogun Remix Radio Edit) (03:28) Miss You Paradise (Morgan Page Extended Club Mix) (07:00) Miss You Paradise (Morgan Page Radio Edit) (03:41) Miss You Paradise (Album Version) (03:31)
This is amazing. Love the Shogun remix and I like the album version.

Saw her perform this on Saturday at Nocturnal Wonderland in Austin. She can really hit some high notes.

Absolutely lovely song. If you like what Zoe Johnston does with Above & Beyond, you will love this.
The album version is quite nice. Morgan Page does a fairly direct mix, that is pretty faithful. However, the standout is definitely the Shogun Remix, as it goes the trance route and has a much bigger payoff, especially with the build and then release before the final chorus. I wasn't a huge fan of her first single, but I'm definitely feeling this, hard.

Shogun's mix is beautiful. Love the melody and vocals. But the bassline for it is too housey to fill my trance fix. I can imagine an even trancier mix for this with a pulsating bassline and more soaring lead synths (i.e. Above and Beyond in 2001) would sound amazing. Still a very nice mix though.

Shogun's mix is fire. Hoping John O'Callaghan or Aly & Fila can get their hands on this.

This song has grown on me a lot, particularly the Shogun mix. I'm loving it more now. The vocals and the synths are heavenly. The Venom One Extended mix is very nice too. A more chilled version. www.youtube.com/watch?v=ODZv9BNyKIQ

I was listening a preview of her "Burn The Sky Down" album and I'm liking what I'm hearing. There's just something special about her voice:
