This was the lead single from her 1981 album Every Home Should Have One and her first album on Quincy Jones' Qwest label. The album would later go on to score a #1 single with "Baby Come To Me". "Do You Love Me" was written by Rod Temperton and produced by Quincy Jones, a team known for their work with Heatwave, Michael Jackson and the Brothers Johnson.
"Do You Love Me" peaked at #24 on the Hot Soul Singles chart and #1 on the Hot Dance/Disco chart.
I love this one.

She'll always be remembered most for "Baby, Come To Me", but I like this too.

Thanks to the 1980s Urban radio show called "Special Edition" featuring this singer and her story - I heard this song finally in 1986 when she released "Honey For The Bees" and followed that up with "In The Heat Of Heat".
