After the worldwide smash that was "Human," the Human League released two more Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis produced singles but both were massive flops. This peaked at #41 in the UK, where it actually served as the lead single from their 1988 hits collection.
I love this. I think the real problem is that it was the Human League. If Alexander O'Neal or New Edition had released this, it probably would have done decently on the R&B charts. "Human" managed to cross over to the R&B charts after it experienced major pop radio success, but considering this didn't do anything at pop radio, I don't think urban radio had any interest in follow-up singles.

I don't know if I would call "massive" flop the second single, I Need Your Loving got to #44 in the US. Compared with Human it was a flop, but at least it charted.
I love Love Is All That Matters, one of my favorites from this album, which is quite good.

Well I meant that in a relative sense. Considering "Human" was a #1 hit, and "I Need Your Loving" missed the Top 40...

One of the highlights of Crash and in general one of my favorite songs from the Human League. The Jam/Lewis production is typical, but there is something about their production mixed in with Phil Oakey's vocals that just give such dimension to me. It's a shame it wasn't a big hit.
