This will most likely be #12 tonight. I'm so happy for this song's success.

Looks like it's slowing down alot. Label should get single #2 ready.

It's slowing down before the top 10 like most songs do. Nothing to worry about, unless it slows down a lot more.

I really hope it can make the top 10. Its amazing success on ITunes should grant it that in an ideal world.

#4 on iTunes! New peak on Hot 100 next week? Maybe. At least a return to the top ten is possible! I'm surprised at the longevity this song has had.

The song dissapeared of itunes for a while, and then it was in the lower top 50, but it climbed fast and now is at 4. With the increase on airplay maybe get higher than 9 on hot 100.
I think it's the first time and american idol winner or runner up have to delay the release of the first single of his album because the coronation song is smashing hard. If he release a solid follow up single, the longevity on the sales of the album could be great

I think it's because the single version was being pulled and replaced by the 2 regular/deluxe album versions. The transition probably caused the temporary glitches on the chart. There just happens to be the perfect follow up on the album: Gone, Gone. Gone. It has the same energy as Home, but manages to be different enough at the same time. They can't go wrong with it as the second single. It has smash hit written all over. ![8-)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/cool.png)

^ "Gone, Gone, Gone" is definitely my favourite track off the record. Would make a fantastic follow up.

Agreed Gone Gone, Gone would be a great choice. I also think So Easy would be a great choice for a single.

#2 on iTunes. Not sure what's causing the big move. I saw that. Not sure why either. I associate Black Friday impulse purchases with physical CDs more than digital singles, and there was no special sale this week for Phillips at iTunes that I know of. It's also still too early to receive and spend iTunes gift cards, and I don't know of a TV show he's done this week. Weird. This song refuses to die. ![](http://i40.tinypic.com/2rgkp60.jpg)

It could be related to his debut album being released on Thursday? I am glad to see this song doing so well. Home and Little Talks are my favorite songs of this year.

Yesssss at this being on the verge of overtaking Gangnam Style for #1.
The slowdown at radio can fuck off though.

#1 on iTunes!
Incredible. Three different spells at the top, with months in-between. When was the last time anything like that happened?

An Adele song is all I can think of, after the Grammys, it might have happened. I'm not sure. That or other high profile award performances.
ETA: RITD got stuck at #2 behind Whitney's "I Will Always Love You" due to her passing right before the Grammys. Katy's new single took over, so no more #1 for RITD.
