I'd love to see "Forever Changed" as the 'winter single', but agree that "Do You Think About Me" is probably most likely to be released next. It's an awesome and catchy 'feel good tune'...

"Forever Changed" will not be a single, so you can count that out now. Carrie has stated she cannot perform it live, and I believe she even said it wouldn't ever be a single.

I really prefer "Wine After Whiskey" to both of those by a wide margin though I do acknowledge that it has virtually no chance. Even "Good In Goodbye" does more for me than those two, though I don't find that particularly single-worthy either.

I would significantly prefer Wine After Whiskey or Good in Goodbye as the next single.
Actually, I want Two Black Cadillacs, but that might be too revengy after the revengy Blown Away.

Lol I want either "Thank God For Hometowns" or "See You Again" or "Two Black Cadillacs" I know those seem to be all unpopular choices though

I'd rather "One Way Ticket", but that seems more likely as the fourth single. I think they'll go with one of the ballads (probably "Do You Think About Me", but maybe "Wine After Whiskey or "Good In Goodbye"), then "One Way Ticket" followed by "Two Black Cadillacs" to close out the album. I think it makes sense to spread out BA and TBC as much as possible.

I think they'll space out Blown Away and Two Black Cadillacs, and not release them back-to-back (though I am pretty confident the latter will indeed be a single at some point).
Next up, Do You Think About Me seems most likely, but I'd be good with Wine After Whiskey too (which is absolutely gorgeous, but I have a feeling it'll get overlooked by the label and not be a single).

I just really hope Two Black Cadillacs is released eventually.

BA comes in at #2 on Billboard, and gained on "Hard To Love". :)

I hope "Do You Think About Me" is 3rd, "Two Black Cadillacs" is 4th, and "One Way Ticket" is 5th.
For the 6th single(s), I'd love for them to send "Wine After Whiskey" to country and "Good in Goodbye" to pop.

I'm with the consensus who believe the next single will be Do You Think About Me, and personally, this is my pick, along with Wine After Whiskey, but I'm thinking that one will unfortunately remain an album track). The former is a great departure from Carrie in that it is a sweet, nostalgic type song. The song has a great sing-along melody (most of Carrie's songs are hard to sing along with, so I think that's an advantage for this song), the lyrics are well-written, the production is simple (completely different from Blown Away), and Carrie sings it beautifully. To me, it's a perfect fit. Although I've grown to like Good In Goodbye, I prefer Do You Think About Me over that song. Since both songs are very similar, I figure one will be a single and the other won't be.
I do worry that Carrie may decide to go with Cupid, Hometowns, or Nobody Ever Told You. Although Cupid is a good, fun song, I think Carrie should stray away from these type of songs for the rest of the album era. She needs to show a different side. Hometowns is sweet, but one of the dullest songs on the album (similar to Mama's Song in that regard). Carrie is known for making off-the-wall choices. I just hope she doesn't go off the wall for this song. Nobody Ever Told You has an interesting production, but the lyrics are way too cliched, and it's probably the weakest song on the entire album. Stay away, Carrie!
The ideal scenario for me would be to have Do You Think About Me next, followed by One Way Ticket for the summer (I get that many here don't like this type of song, but I think it's very fun and different for Carrie), and end the era with Wine After Whiskey. However, I certainly wouldn't be opposed to ending it with Two Black Cadillacs, especially since it's such a favorite among everyone, and honestly, it may be the best choice for Carrie. Either one of those scenarios would be perfect. Dear Carrie, do not mess this up, and please go with five singles this time around.
Having said all this, I want Blown Away to last as long as possible. I think this song is likely to end up being Carrie's third biggest single ever (behind Before He Cheats and Jesus, Take The Wheel) and could possibly surpass JTTW in digital sales and become her second biggest digital seller. I doubt it will become a huge pop hit, but I think it will get a fair amount of play on the AC stations when all is said and done, and it's obviously made an impact with people. So, I want this song to have the maximum impact by staying on the top as long as possible. I'll be thrilled with 2 weeks, but 3 weeks would be the icing on the cake for sure.

I want SYA, GIG, and WAW to all get released.
However, due to the fact that we've gotten one performance of GIG, two of WAW, and none of SYA in comparison to the other songs on the album, I don't see any of the three getting releases.
DYTAM is probably going to be the next release.

This song should reach 50 million AIs, like the previous two #1's (Take a little ride, Wanted). A possible scenario is that BA gets #1 this week at around 48.5 million, next week at #1 at ~50 million, and a third week at #1 at 48 million. With a 7.3 million lead on Lee Brice, it will probably take 3 weeks for Lee's tune to do that. The 3-weeks at #1 scenario is possible, but I'm going to forget about Mediabase, because I don't like it. So, using Billboard numbers...Jason Aldean has just gotten his 3rd week at #1 there. In his 1st week at #1, he was at 37.5 million, before getting just above 39 million on the 10/13 chart. He comes in at 38.4 million tonight. Carrie's at #2 with 36.8 million tonight, only 700k behind what Jason had during his 1st week at #1. Dustin Lynch is still a bit of a wildcard, but I figure, even if he has another week of gains left in him, the best he'll be able to do is get back up to #2. So let's look at Lee Brice. He's at 32.1 million now, about 4.6 million behind Carrie. I think Carrie's got a great chance at 2 weeks, assuming she finishes this week on top. She basically has to, or the 3-week scenario can definitely be tossed out the window, and maybe even the 2-week scenario, if her reign didn't start 'til the 11/3 chart. Anyway, I figure that BA has maybe about 1.5 to 2.0 million that it can maybe get, before it will run out of room to grow. If she can get north of 38.5 million at the end of this week, and then have one more steady week (maybe even a small gain), 2 weeks shouldn't be a problem. Then, like we see with Jason on tonight's chart, she can start downward, but maybe be able to hold on to #1 for a 3rd week if Lee isn't all that close yet. Lee's maybe only about 5 million behind a typical #1 audience total on Billboard, but he might need 6 million, since Jason set the bar a little higher and Carrie looks to follow suit (posting high numbers during her time at/near the top). It looks good on paper and sounds good reading it aloud, but it's actually not really the best thing to be at #2 with almost 37 million. It's certainly possible that she can get 3 weeks at #1 but it's a bit tougher when you have less room to grow before you hit that 'ceiling'. If we assume she can get 2 weeks at #1 (and thus, would be finishing her 2nd week at #1 2 weeks from tonight), Lee would probably be between 36-37 million by then (4-5 million higher than what he has now), and that's why I think 3 weeks will be tough to come by here, as Lee wouldn't be all that far behind. We'll have to wait and see.

Carrie's next single has already been chosen for well over a month now. For this reason (along with the reaction from the guy at Sony's reaction when I said DYTAM should be the next single) I really believe that Do You Think About Me is the next single. She performed it at the VH1 show, probably knowing it was going to be the next single. Hopefully my reasoning is correct because DYTAM is my favorite song on the album :)
In Blown Away news, so glad this will be #1 next week and will likely be #1 for more than 1 week! I'm also extremely glad that Blown Away will be blocking Cowboys And Angels from #1. What a snoozefest of a song.
I wonder if Carrie will sing "Blown Away" at the CMAs or the new single?

I wonder if Carrie will sing "Blown Away" at the CMAs or the new single? Probably BA. Maybe she can do the new single at the ACA Awards in December, or even the Grammys in Feb. (suppose she were to get a performance slot, which I could imagine that she will).

The CMAs are coming up a bit too soon to be performing her next single, and there's still a lot of potential from performing BA at such an event. I'm excited to see it.

BA will be at number one at the time of the CMAs or even on the decline. It's generally a perfect opportunity to premiere a new song. Additionally, she's already had a couple of high profile tv performances of BA. In my mind, the only reason to perform BA is that it lends itself to a live performance moreso than DYTAM (if DYTAM is, indeed, the next single). But I think they'll go with a new single.

Although the chance is slim and none, I would like to see "Who Are You" released to Christian radio. Who Are You or See You Again, would be ideal on Christian radio. Why they don't release them there is beyond me. I'm thinking the label connection to that format has to be there. I think JTTW was played there back in 2005-06.

Jesus Take The Wheel was a big hit on Christian radio, but promoting a song on Christian radio isn't as easy as just sending the song to radio stations on Play MPE. A lot of time and money go into radio promotion, including the Christian formats. Someone would have to be invested in pushing one of Carrie's song to those formats.
But that won't happen for a couple reasons:
I doubt Sony wants to spend the time and money to promote a separate single to Christian radio. If a song was going to be a country single, maybe they could think about pushing it to the Christian formats as well. But there's no reason to just throw another song specifically to Christian radio.
Christian radio doesn't just play any music that could possibly be interpreted as a "Christian" song. Yes, there are some exceptions to this, but I know personally some Christian radio programmers who won't play songs on their station if they don't specifically mention God or Jesus very obviously throughout the song. I talked to one PD who wouldn't play Francesca Battistelli's (one of the formats biggest female Christian artists) latest single titled "Angel By Your Side" because it didn't mention God/Jesus, it was certainly was implying God was the angel by our side but it could have easily been taken as just a good friend being there for someone. This is why Jesus Take The Wheel was able to breakthrough on Christian radio and why Who Are You and See You Again stand no chance of it because of how vague they are. Yes they could certainly be Christian-themed, but they could be something else entirely as well.
And lastly, "Who Are You" is a terrible song. "See You Again" isn't bad, but its nothing special either. Christian radio wouldn't touch either one of these songs no matter how much promotion Sony did for them. "Jesus Take The Wheel" was an incredible song that millions of people could relate to on a spiritual level and that's why it was a huge hit on Christian radio.

I totally disagree about Who Are You being a terrible song and See You Again being nothing special. The former is not a personal favourite of mine, but I think it has a gorgeous melody, gorgeous vocals, and great lyrics for those who subscribe to those beliefs. I think See You Again is absolutely fantastic, I adore everything about that song from the lyrics to the vocals to the melody to the arrangement. It's entirely subjective whether a song is "good" or not, and it's not like radio hasn't played many clunkers over the years. Perhaps what I'd consider to be a clunker is someone else's favourite song.
I do agree that it makes no sense for Carrie's label to use extra resources to promote a single specifically to the Christian format. I'm surprised they didn't at least test the waters with Temporary Home, but perhaps the payoff is not worth all the work, and they'd rather just have a single take off there naturally like JTTW did.

Yeah, I think "See You Again", in particular, is just great. It's probably my 2nd or 3rd favorite on the album, only behind "Blown Away" and maybe "Two Black Cadillacs". Although I actually don't really want SYA as a single...I think there are other strong tracks (Good In Goodbye, Do You Think About Me, Wine After Whiskey, and the aforementioned Two Black Cadillacs) that are just better single choices and would win over more listeners. They all won't be singles, of course, but that's the 'pool' I'd pick from.

I was quite surprised that Blown Away was #1 on the real-time tracker this morning. Wasn't the gap between Carrie and Jason around 1.5 million on Monday's Billboard chart? This gap was made up in 1 day?
