I love to blast "Who Are You." That song is amazing! Good to see Mutt Lange's writing again on a Country project.

SYA deserves to be a single more than an awful lot of tracks on this album, IMO, and that says a lot because nearly every track is single potential.
Back to BA -- I'm so proud of this song's run. No road blocks, very steady and impressive sales, and the high expectations for this song's run were met.

"Blown Away" has had a great run. I hope "See You Again" is a single at some point. Love that song.

I was quite surprised that Blown Away was #1 on the real-time tracker this morning. Wasn't the gap between Carrie and Jason around 1.5 million on Monday's Billboard chart? This gap was made up in 1 day? That's not how the Billboard Real Time Tracker works. Unlike Mediabase, the RTT is a building chart...after the chart week ends at midnight on Sunday, all the songs go back to 0 and 'build' from there. So right now, only 1 day into the week, Carrie is at #1, which simply means that she had more audience than any other song on Monday alone.

"Blown Away" looks like a lock for #1 this week. I am just wondering if it can get 2-3 weeks at #1, or if it's getting in there quick and then Dustin Lynch will take over. Of course, it could go back to #1 after that as the top 10 is fairly open right now.
It would be nice to see Carrie get a solid run at #1 as it has been awhile.

Carrie Underwood would move up one to #39 on the all time list of those artists with the most #1s. She would trade places with Rascal Flatts, but would still be below Clint Black. However, it would be better to put a '13' next to her name versus the 12 chart toppers she has now.

2 weeks for BA is very likely now. Good for Carrie.

If Billboard's new rules block Carrie from #1, chile... there's still the country airplay chart, carrie is going to top that one for 2-3 weeks for sure. i'm not sure how i feel about this new 'country songs' chart, i mean a pop song that missed the top 10 on country airplay is now #1 on the country songs chart...well done Billboard, smh.

How can a song that flopped on country radio be the #1 country song? How can a song that flopped on country radio be the #1 country song when the country mix isn't even available to purchase?
Billboard haven't thought this one through very well, to say the least. It's disgusting, to be honest.

Wait...what?!?! The lame as* new rule takes affect with this new chart, robbing Carrie of a #1? Are you kidding me?!?! Why wouldn't they wait until the new chart year? And what is the chart formula? "BA" is #1 in airplay and probably top 5 or so in sales. That would easily be the best combination of stats among country songs, no?

The thing i don't like is that artist labeled as R&B (Rihanna) is topping the R&B songs chart with Diamonds, a pop song. Same goes for WANEGBT on Country Songs. And sorry if this is not on topic, i just think BA is not topping this chart in the near future at all.

But if it's true Rihanna and Taylor are #1 on the genre charts, it means sales are getting weighted too much. Neither is even top 20 in their respective genres airplay. "Blown Away," for instance, is #1 in airplay and top 3-5 in sales. No other song has that combination of stats, so it should be #1 regardless. And again, why wouldn't they wait until the new chart year (i.e. like 2 months) to start this? How will they even compile the year-end charts when the last 2 months of charts are different from the first 10?

Rihanna is #61 in R&B airplay with her pop song "Diamonds," yet is #1 in downloads and thus #1 on the R&B chart. WTH? Taylor's song basically flopped at country radio, and the country version isn't even available at iTunes, and she's #1 on Country Songs. Get your act together, Billboard!!

LMAO.
i just can't.
This new chart/rule is the worst thing Billboard has ever done since they stole Britney's #1 (Blackout).
I just wish Carrie will be #1 in country song and airplay .
She deserves it. Blown Away deserves it.

This is worse than anything that affected Britney. Britney's album didn't sell the most that week and didn't deserve #1. With this new change, songs that aren't even getting support from a genre can top the chart for that genre. It doesn't make logical sense.

Wow, you guys are freaking out over SPECULATION over what the new chart might be. Good grief, we'll find out TODAY what the methodology is.
Chill. Out.

I believe they are only starting, hopefully soon they'll find a formula that does the country genre justice. I feel like doing 70% airplay and 30% sales would be a lot more fair, since country buyers aren't exactly known to buy singles on Itunes and stuff. They mostly buy the whole album.

I don't understand. If they count the pop airplay and sales, then what's the differences between country song and Billboard 100? weird
I guess Taylor will surpass Carrie's #1 singles very very SOON. :o
