Well, if your CC station (probably not counting WLTW or KOST) is not already airing "Delilah at night, get ready! She's probably coming your way. Today, as rumored, Delilah left Jones Radio Networks for Clear Channel owned Premiere. This is a substantial loss for Jones, because Delilah was basically their cash cow. Alan Kabel who hosted a Hot-AC show for Premiere will take over Delilah's spot at Jones. However, I think stations currently airing Delilah will make the switch from Jones to Premiere along with Delilah. It will also be interesting to see how much the show will cost affiliates now and how much barter time will be in the show now.
Also, look for markets that have CC AC stations and a competitor currently airing Delilah to steal Delilah away from that competitor. Kind of like what they did on a lot of stations with Rush and Laura. It certainly adds to the Clear Channel Autonomy. >:(

In Jackson, Delilah's radio show is had by WJKK (Mix 98.7)--a station that is owned by New South Radio (a Meridian, Mississippi-based company).

KSSK AM 590 has picked up John Tesh which runs weeknights 7-midnight. Premiere better not put Delilah on my favorite Clear Channel station here which is 92.3 KSSK.

My first response: Oh, no. Now she'll be infiltrated onto WMTX. My second response: Great! Now Tragic 94.9 won't be all-Delilah-all-the-freaking-time! (But it does beg to ask if they'll the ever-so-lame "Dream Doctor" show).

WVEZ in Louisville airs the show 7PM-2AM.
