Looks like Katy will be up to #2 in airplay by Monday or Tuesday.
WHYB is donzo. I imagine them waiting a month or so before we get news on another single, or the lead single from the new album. I want WHYB out of the Top 20 before she has a new song on radio.

Katy is definitely not going to be #1 next week, if at all. I'm ok with that. She's still hitting #1 tomorrow on CHR, which is unstoppable at this point. :)

It's weird how Calvin Harris just can't get his sales to match his airplay peaks... Feel So Close was let down by its sales and it looks like Let's Go is suffering the same fate. I can't believe it's no 8 in airplay yet only 22 on iTunes. I wonder why radio is forcing this on listeners when the general public doesn't seem to be that interested? I have nothing against the song itself, but I've always been a bit disappointed with the lack of buying interest in Calvin's songs -v- his AirPlay support.

Just because a song is "low" in sales, doesn't mean that the public isn't interested.
Alot of songs that people may "like" just get overshadowed by other songs people decide to spend money on instead. Let's Go actually has decent callout scores as well.

Radio doesn't base what it's playing on what sells. They use research like call-out scores.
Lots of people listen to the radio but rarely ever buy music.
Lots of people buy music who rarely ever listen to the radio.
Sure there's plenty of overlap but it's by no means a one-to-one comparison.
