Week of 09-16-2012The invasion of Carly Slae Jepsen has begun. :'( Her album is flawless, and I wanted to chart almost every song. However, I limited myself to 3 non singles. That means 4 new songs from her (including the (promo?) single "This Kiss") and 2 other new songs: Psy's "Gangnam Style" and Nicki Minaj & Cassie's "The Boys." More on debuts later. Fitting on the week CRJ's album leaks, she returns to the summit, alongside Owl City, with "Good Time." This is its 2nd week at #1. "Push and Shove" falls one spot to #2, while "Cantaloupe" and "Pound the Alarm" stay the same at #3 and #4, respectively. Rounding out the top 5 is Flo Rida's "Run" featuring RedFoo. This song is flawless and NEEDS to be a single. Entering the top 10 we have, at #9, fun.'s "Some Nights" and P!nk's "Blow Me (One Last Kiss)." Both move up 6 positions! Big moves elsewhere in the chart include Maroon 5's "One More Night," moving up 5 spots to #24, and Carrie Underwood's "Blown Away," moving up 7 spots to #23. The debuts are: #20 "Hurt So Good" Carly Rae Jepsen, #27 "This Kiss" Carly Rae Jepsen, #31 "More Than a Memory" Carly Rae Jepsen, #35 "Gangnam Style" Psy, #36 "The Boys" Nicki Minaj & Cassie, and #37 "Tonight I'm Getting Over You" Carly Rae Jepsen. Falling off the chart are: “Birthday Cake (remix)” Rihanna ft. Chris Brown, “Heart Skips a Beat” Olly Murs, “Paradise” Coldplay, “Princess of China” Coldplay & Rihanna, “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” Taylor Swift, and “Where Have You Been” Rihanna. Olly Murs and Taylor have good shots are re-entering the chart in the coming weeks. A very exciting week! :) Next week should be a new #1, so that will be exciting as well! Josh you need to turn in your stan card, I'm charting more Carly Rae songs than you. You do 50 songs though! If I had 50 I would have more songs that I would be fine kicking out. Normally 40 is more than enough for me to decide. :'(

I'll probably chart more next week haha. I have songs nearing the bottom that have peaked and so they can go. :)

Niceeeeee! :) So bad Good Time has not too much chance getting into my Top 10, but the old Curiosity hit #1. I'll chart Your Heart Is Muscle and This Kiss next week, maybe one more song. Three of Carly songs are still charting high though.

Week of 09-23-2012The invasion of Carly Slae Jepsen continues this week. 3 new songs of hers enter the chart, "Tiny Little Bows" at #26 (the top debut for the week), "Turn Me Up" at #32, and "Wrong Feels So Right" at #38. The 3 songs that debuted last week all increased, with "Hurt So Good" entering the top 10 at #9. At the same time, "Call Me Maybe" climbs 11-10 and that makes 3 songs in the top 10 simultaneously for CRJ, as "Good Time" falls 1-2. "Cantaloupe" by The Cataracs climbs 3-1 to the top position, their first #1. "Run" climbs 5-3, "Hello" climbs 6-5, while "Pound the Alarm" is stagnant at #6. P!nk and fun.'s current singles both enter the top 10 at #8 and #7 respectively, and "Dance for You" climbs 15-11, with a top 10 looking very possible next week. Elsewhere, the biggest movement comes from "Blown Away" (23-14) and "One More Night (24-15). Both singles are showing great growth and should be top 10 soon as well. "Gangnam Style" also moves 35-25, showing great growth as well. One Direction's new song, "Live While We're Young" enters at #27. If it had more time it probably could have debuted top 20, but alas. I also have my first re-entry, as "Heart Skips a Beat" re-enters at #40, with its 2nd week on the chart and a previous peak of #36. Dropping off the chart are "Give Your Heart a Break," "HYFR (Hell Ya f**king Right)," "I.F.U.," "We Run the Night," and "Windows Down." Next week could have big debuts as well. Ke$ha and Rihanna have new singles set to premiere! Week of 09-30-2012Hmm well I just realized I completely forgot about Ke$ha's song. But my chart is already made. Guess it will settle for a bigger debut next week then. Rihanna flopped and completely missed the chart (possibly to never chart), 1D increased, and Christina debuted. Those are all the big new singles that just came out. :) I think that's all of them anyways. Lol. This also is the 13th week of my chart, meaning 1/4 of a year! I might put up some Q3 chart. Or maybe not. Depends how motivated I get. Ok so "Cantaloupe" stays at #1 for a 2nd week, while "Run" moves up to #2, and "Pound the Alarm" moves up to #3. "Dance for You" is enters the top 10 at #10, switching with "Call Me Maybe," which falls one to #11. Great longevity with that song. Several of the new CRJ songs continue to rise, but one stays stagnant ("Wrong Feels So Right" at #38), while "Tonight I'm Getting Over You" falls off the chart. Psy also makes a big 25-19 jump. Three songs debut this week, "Too Close" at #35, "Your Body" at #37, and "Spectrum" (F+TM's song) at #39. The other two songs falling off besides CRJ are "Beez In the Trap" and "Heart Skips a Beat." After 13 weeks of charting, there are (only?) 16 songs that have been on my chart since its debut. Every song that hit #1 is still charting, although "Lights" and "Titanium" are falling and at #s 29 and 30, so could fall out in a few weeks. Bey making that Top 10 :'( & Alex is just now debuting on your charts? :o LOL I didn't like Too Close until maybe a month ago, but when I was ready to debut him here comes Carly Rae Jepsen. She blocked a lot of stuff. Still have a list of about 5 songs that I might debut if I get the chance. :)

You have a perfect chart josh. Really good work. I used to do a Top 10 Albums, but I needed to stop 'cause I ain't have time enough. I think you should do an Albums Chart ;)

I'm going to do an albums chart for the end of the year. Not sure that I could rank albums each week as well. Those change like crazy for me.
