Week of 04-13-2014So I finally got the multipliers for all old charts in place. I also raised the certification threshold, but each week gets more points so it doesn't really make any difference. It just allows me, if it ever actually happens, to give lower points than before on slow weeks. Pretty much no charting song was affected by the points change, since I've been doing multipliers for a couple months already. Only songs that charted 2013 and before really saw any difference.
A new #1 this week, as "Human" rises 1 to #1. This is Christina's first #1. This causes "Partition" to drop 1 to #2, while "G.U.Y." holds at #3. There is 1 new entry to the top 5: "Latch" up 2 to #5. This is Disclosure's 1st and Sam's 1st top 5. There is also 1 new entry to the top 10: "You & I" up 9 to #8. This is One Direction's 10th top 10. Could it be their 1st #1? Who knows tbh. 2 new songs enter the top 20: "Proxy" up 8 to #19 and "Na Na" up 5 to #20. This is Martin's 3rd and Trey's 1st top 20.
3 new songs enter the top 30: "Wild Wild Love" up 19 to #22, the greatest gainer, "Fancy" up 3 to #28, and "Pulses" up 4 to #29. This is Pitbull's 7th (4 lead, 3 feature), G.R.L.'s 1st, Iggy's 1st, Charli's 1st, and Karmin's 6th top 30. This is also Pitbull's 11th (8 lead, 3 feature) and G.R.L.'s top 40. Besides "Wild Wild Love," only 1 new song enters the top 40: "Not a Bad Thing" up 5 to #39. This is Justin's 4th top 40.
4 songs debut: "Youth," "Am I Wrong," "Aerosol Can," and "I Luh Ya PaPi" at #43, #44, #49, and #50, respectively.
