There's a tie between Dash Berlin and Emma Hewitt. Sharing a musical connection, the latest collaboration of the Dutch producer and Australian singer turned out to be another masterpiece. 'Like Spinning Plates' lures you right into its maze.
Providing a golden lining to each Dash Berlin track she's lend her voice to, Emma Hewitt has grown from a featuring vocalist to a fully-fledged artist, standing her ground. Earlier this year, she released her long-awaited debut album, 'Burn The Sky Down', to great success. One of the bonus jewels of the long-awaited album, is the hauntingly beautiful 'Like Spinning Plates'. An ode to a classic, made dance floor fit by Dash Berlin and sung by one of the most powerful singers in today's EDM scene. The follow-up to the IDMA winning 'Waiting' and club favourite 'Disarm Yourself' is exactly the reason why their musical bond should stay strong.
For his 'United Destination 2012' compilation, Dash brought his very own interpretation, polishing the diamond of 'Like Spinning Plates' to a shiny uplifting trance gem. Australian producer Marlo Hoogstraten, making name under his MaRLo moniker, sharps the edges, bringing out a techy deep interpretation, while Russia's favourite, Alexander Popov, makes it pound with prog-trance energy.Tracklist:Like Spinning Plates (Original Mix) (08:14) Like Spinning Plates (Dash Berlin's #UD2012 Rework) (08:010) Like Spinning Plates (MaRLo Remix) (06:12) Like Spinning Plates (Alexander Popov Remix) (06:08) Like Spinning Plates (Radio Edit) (03:04)
Dash Berlin & Emma Hewiit does it again!!! I have Emma's album "Burn The Sky Down" and the song was a bonus track which is a bit different from the single version but nonetheless it was one of my favorites from the album. And congrats to Emma Hewitt for winning the award for BeatsMedia UK's best vocalist of 2012.

Masterpiece. They should do a collaborative album together in the future.

It's positively haunting. I'm honestly not familiar with either of them, but barring the fact that this "woman" gives me Jeffree Star vibes, I really have no criticisms to make.

Really beautiful. The lush production goes very well with her voice. I do think it could sound even more incredible if maybe some of the production including the bassline and the percussion were beefed up a bit more, but that might just be my own personal preference.

A lot of people didn't know that two of its members of Dash Berlin, Eelke Kalberg and Sebastiaan Molijn used to be members of Alice Deejay who had that big international hit "Better off alone" and has worked with Vengaboys back in the days. There were more members of Alice Deejay I believe there were six or seven members.
The guy in the video and all the Dash Berlin videos is the frontman of the group name Jeffrey Sutorius who's the one that DJ's and goes on tour and all.

And I always made the common mistake of referring to both acts as one singular person.

I'm glad you guys like this, but I just cannot seem to get into it. I just don't care for the melody at all. For now, I much prefer Dash Berlin's work with Jonathan Mendelsohn with the songs "World Falls Apart" and "Better Half Of Me."
