According to Anna Nalick, this is looking to be the second single from "Wreck Of The Day".
I actually like "Citadel" better, but this is also a rocker and will expose another side of Nalick's sound effectively across the airwaves.
We'll have to wait and see how this does eventually. Hopefully she won't face the same fate as another artist, Five For Fighting, who saw a piano ballad hit big but when trying to follow-up the success with an up-tempo rocker ("Easy Tonight") it fell short.
Sincerely, Noah Eaton

Yeah I'm hoping Breathe won't be her only hit. She's so talented, and I actually think that this is a GREAT second single choice. Like mentioned, it will give radio listeners a chance to hear a different side to Anna and her music. The lyrics are great, the chorus is instantly drilled in your head, and Anna's voice is very powerful and less subdued than it was on Breathe.

I certainly hope Anna Nalick successfully makes a major crossover into CHR/Pop with "Breathe". She's within the New & Active radar currently there, and I have faith she will go Top 25 there.
If her crossover falls short, her album may fall short in its overall commerical potential. I'm currently optimistic that seeing she can go Top 5 at Hot AC here, her label will not let this talented young artist down and see great things from her and will give heart into the promotion of this debut.
For those of you who haven't heard this record yet, you'd be suprised by the number of rockers on this album. "Citadel", "Paper Bag" and "In The Rough" all showcase Nalick's edgier side and vocal range.
Sincerely, Noah Eaton

Agree with everything you said Noah! And I'm confident that Anna will hit Top 5 with Breathe, and it's crossover potential is pretty big.

I'm disappointed with this song. 'Paper Bag' would have been a MUCH better choice. This song reminds of the Corrs a bit in the chorus tho. It's not bad but it's not among my favourites on the CD.

She sounds like a Lene Marlin wannabe.

No where near Lene, and I'm a huge Lene fan. Their voices are totally different.

This goes for adds at the end of the month. It's more of a first listen for me then "Breathe" was, but I don't see myself liking it as much in the long run.

I think this will do well on Hot AC and could finally get her on the Pop chart. This is the song that reminds me most of Natalie Imbruglia.

Yeah I think this will do very well on Hot AC... catchy, vocally and lyrically powerful, and a good follow-up to Breathe. It shows her versatility.

Lol, she reminds me of Michelle Branch now. I totally see this performing like Breathe (from Michelle). Not gonna as well as Breathe 2 am. Lol, lot's of breathing...

I disagree.
She's more raw and energetic than Michelle Branch. Her songwriting approach is more poetic than hers, where I consider her songwriting style a cross-breed between Tori Amos and Alanis Morissette, softer than Alanis but louder than Tori.
Sincerely, Noah Eaton

Only one add less than Alanis. I REALLY hope that this is a hit for her! She is too great to be a one hit wonder.

I really hope this does well, I agree that she is way too talented to be a one-hit wonder, maybe that's why Pop didn't play her. Her album is full of potential singles, I think she is the most undderrated artist of the year.

It was the sure shot on the Rick Dees Hot AC countdown this week. It was also one of the "On The Verge" tracks on this past weekend's edition of "VH-1 Weekly Rewind".

I really hope this is a hit for her, she is very deserving of success! She is my favorite new artist of 2005 and her album has a lot of potential, I just wish radio would pick-up on her a little more, especially Pop.

The video is way better than the "Breathe" video.
