Debut at 36* on the 3/25 Adult Top 40 chart- yay. :) I'm not sure, but I think I remember reading that she had the most entries on this chart (which began in 1995) for females- either that, or it was close with Sheryl Crow. *goes to investigate* *EDIT*- "Sorry" is Madge's 16th entry on Adult Top 40- "Always On Your Side" is Sheryl's 17th. On R&R Hot AC it is the other way around: Madonna 17, Sheryl 16.

Would "Secret" be one of Madge's others on R&R Hot AC? If so, I gather that chart began in 1994.
Which of Sheryl's didn't chart on R&R Hot AC?

Madge's "Secret". and "I'll Remember" are probably a couple that did not chart on BB.
I'm not sure which song of Sheryl's didn't make R&R. Here is her R&R Hot AC chart history, with peak positon (weeks at peak in parenthesis):
1. All I Wanna Do, #1 (6 weeks) 2. Strong Enough #12 (2) 3. Can’t Cry Anymore #22 (2) 4. If It Makes You Happy #4 5. Everyday Is a Winding Road #4 (4) 6. A Change Would Do You Good #3 (2) 7. My Favorite Mistake #2 (3) 8. Anything but Down #5 (2) 9. Sweet Child O’ Mine #27 10. Soak Up the Sun #1 (9) 11. Steve McQueen #14 (2) 12. C'Mon C'Mon #35 13. The First Cut Is the Deepest #2 (8) 14. Light in Your Eyes #11 15. Good Is Good #5 16. Always on Your Side (still climbing)

Yeah- IR and Secret def would have been Hot AC. They peaked at No. 1 and 2 on AC, and I think some of the AC stations were categorized as Hot AC when the Adult Top 40 chart debuted?
Going by your list, it looks like you left off "Picture." :)

Oops. I don't have Picture listed under Sheryl Crow as she was a "featured" act. So, counting that, they are tied. :)

LDLHA charted on this? The AC chart was in excistence at the time, wasn't it? On Billboard's AC chart, it peaked at No.29. Odd that it would chart that high on R&R Hot AC and not at all on Adult Top 40! Ray of Light also had a notably higher Hot AC peak.

The AC chart was around then, but unfortunately I don't have any stats for that. I too am surprised at how well it did on Hot AC. I guess the panels were much different at the time, with each publication having a different definition of what Hot AC/Adult Top 40 was.

It just missed debuting on the HAC chart this week by one spin. What a shame it would be if it didn't end up charting all because of one measly spin.

Again, though, Krypt, it's made it on Adult Top 40. Good enough. :)

I just heard this song and it's so good! Much better than Hung Up! I like the moodier feel! It's a shame it's doing nothing in the US...
