Going to recurrent: The aforementioned "How Do You Love" will be going to recurrent next week
Biggest Mover: "Savin' Me" jumps 5 notches to #30.
Debuts: The only debut of the week is Jewel who comes in at #39 with "Again and Again". This is Jewel's 12th Hot AC hit.
Exiting the Survey: "Crazy" falls off after 17 weeks on.
Other Notes: "Hung Up" and "In the Rough" continue their free-fall, falling 7 notches each to #s 37 and 36 respectively. Coldplay slip back to #20 and seem to be having a hard time going higher with "Talk". 8 songs in the top 20 hold positions this week, including the entire top 5. Worthless fact of the week: The average weeks on chart for a song in the top 10 this week is 25.

#1: "You're Beautiful" spends a third week at #1
Oldest Song: "You and Me" has been on the chart for 55 weeks
Oldest Song below #15: Lifehouse has this as well as "Blind" is in its 19th week
Possibly Going to Recurrent: "She Says", at #14 this week, will go to recurrent once it falls below #15.
Going to Recurrent: "Blind" will go to recurrent in 2 weeks.
Biggest Mover: Jewel's "Again and Again" vaults up an impressive 13 notches to #26.
Debuts: Hoobastank return to the chart with their 4th Hot AC entry, "If I Were You", which comes in at #36 "When You Cry" by Vertical Horizon comes in at #37, giving the group their 6th hit. Better than Ezra score their 5th chart single with "Juicy" at #39. "Check on It" by Beyonce rounds out the debuts at #40, her second hit.
Exiting the Survey: "Brighter than Sunshine", 8 weeks "How Do You Love", 20 weeks, to recurrent "Wake Me Up When September Ends", 23 weeks, to recurrent "In the Rough", 17 weeks
Other Notes: "Bad Day" continues to move up 2 notches at a time, this week moving 6-4 Train earn their 6th top 10 as "Cab" moves 12-10 in its 14th week on the chart Bon Jovi move ever so close to the top 10, jumping 5 spots to #11. They have not peaked this high on the chart in over 5 years, since "It's My Life". They haven't hit the top 10 since 1994. Sheryl Crow now has the most top 20 hits for any woman. "Always on Your Side" is her 13th, besting Madonna's 12. Overall, Madonna still has more songs to chart on the entire HAC chart. Pink jumps a healthy 6 notches to #32 with "Stupid Girls".

I must say that I don't mind "Crazy" falling off the chart before going recurrent. That was, IMO, a terrible remake of a mediochre song. Methinks Alanis should stick to her own material.

#1: "You're Beautiful" spends a fourth week at #1
Oldest Song: "You and Me" has been on the chart for 56 weeks. This puts the song in 7th place for longest run on the chart.
Oldest Song below #15: Lifehouse has this as well as "Blind" is in its 20th week
Possibly Going to Recurrent: No songs above #15 are very close to going recurrent.
Going to Recurrent: "Blind" will go to recurrent next week.
Biggest Mover: Hoobastank climb 6 notches to #30 with "If I Were You". Kelly Clarkson is a close second as "Walk Away" leaps 5 to #13.
Debuts: Newcomers Breaking Point enter at #38 with "All Messed Up". Nickelback, not content with just 2 songs on the chart, enter at #40 with "Far Away". The song is their seventh hit.
Exiting the Survey: "She Says", 29 weeks, to recurrent "Hung Up", 18 weeks
Other Notes: In its 12th week on the chart, "Talk" finally regains momentum and moves to a new peak of #17. Santana's "Just Feel Better" continues to slide down the chart at #18. It peaked at #12, which ties the lowest peak of a Santana song. "Maria Maria" peaked at #12 in 2000. Carrie Underwood inches up another spot to #23. Speaking of inching, after making a huge jump last week, Jewel puts the breaks on and inches up 1 to #25.

Possibly Going to Recurrent: "Sugar We're Goin' Down" will go to recurrent as soon as it slips below #15.
Going to Recurrent: "Pretty Vegas" will go to recurrent in 2 weeks
Biggest Mover: Hoobastank jump 4 notches to #26 with "If I Were You"
Debuts: INXS gets their third HAC chart hit as "Afterglow" enters at #36. Newcomer Missy Higgens debuts at #39 with "Scar"
Exiting the Survey: "Blind", the followup to "You and Me" (which is still charting), goes to recurrent after 20 weeks on the chart. Nickelback's "Far Away" becomes a 1 week wonder (for now) and falls off from #40.
Other Notes: "You and Me" falls out of the top 10 after 48 weeks. That puts the song in 3rd place for most weeks in the top 10. #1 is "Drops of Jupiter" with 52 weeks, and #2 is Lifehouse's other big hit, "Hanging by a Moment", with 49 weeks. Bon Jovi reach the top 10 for the first time in over a decade as "Who Says You Can't Go Home" moves to #10. Their last top 10 was "Always", which peaked at #2 in 1995. The song is currently top 10 on the country chart as well. There are a lot of backward bullets this week. One of those is by Train, whose "Cab" falls from #10 to #13. Jack Johnson gets his third top 20 hit with "Upside Down" (21-20). Live gets stuck at #33 for a third week with "The River".

Debuts: Rhianna gets her first HAC hit as "SOS" enters at #36. "We Are One Tonight" by Switchfoot comes in at #39 giving them their 5th hit. They first appeared on HAC almost exactly 2 years ago with "Meant to Live". Madonna regains her lead for the record of most charted hits as "Sorry" eeks into the chart at #40. She now has 18 hits. Shery Crow has 17 (including her appearance on "Picture").

Other Notes: Kelly Clarkson enters the top 10 with her 5th single from the Breakaway cd. This makes her the first act to chart 5 top 10s from a single cd on the HAC chart. Goo Goo Dolls fall out of the top 10 after 21 weeks there. "Some Hearts" rebounds to its peak of #23. "Making Memories of Us" also rebounds, but Keith Urban rebounds toa new peak of #26.
