My station just started playing Fall Out Boy's "Sugar We're Goin' Down" recently. Every time it starts up I think the guitar intro sounds sooooo familiar. Then today they played Creed's "Higher" and that's what it was reminding me of. Anyone else hear the similarity? I really like the song. What band would you compare Fall Out Boy to? The vocal sounds familiar to me.

That's exactly what I've been saying too. Up until the first vocals in the song, the opening riff sounds EXACTLY like a typical Creed arena-ready opener. I thought it sounded incredibly similar to the opener of "My Sacrifice". As for what they sound alike too, pretty much every other Top 40-friendly pop-punk band out there! Sincerely, Noah Eaton

They sound a little like Alien Ant Farm to me.
