#1: “Photograph” holds at #1 for an eleventh week
Oldest Song: “You and Me” continues to be the longevity champ with 50 weeks on. The last song to spend at least 50 weeks on was Howie Day's "Collide" (which spent 54 weeks on).
Oldest Song(s) below the top 15: "I'm Feeling You" is the oldest song with 18 weeks.
Possibly Going to Recurrent: "You'll Think of Me" will go to recurrent if it falls below #15.
Going to Recurrent: Nothing within a couple of weeks.
Biggest Mover: "Upside Down" blasts up 11 notches to #29
Debuts: None
Re-Entry: "Dance, Dance" returns at #39, the same position it left two weeks ago.
Exiting the Survey:"Fix You" falls back off the chart (14 weeks)
Other Notes: Rob Thomas is 3 for 3 in making the top 5 with his solo hits. "Ever the Same" moves 6-5. After peaking at #15, "In the Rough" slips to #18. Plunge: "Crazy" plummets 7 notches to #19 this week. Plunge Pt 2: "The Great Divide" is the biggest dropper, falling 8 spots to #35. 3 Doors Down can't keep their momentum as they slip back 3 spots to #33 this week. KT Tunstall leaps 7 spots to #31, while the Pussycat dolls make the top 30 by moving up 5 spots to #30. Perhaps the chart will be speeding up a bit? :o

What is the Hot AC record for most weeks? Isn't in like the 60's? I think "You and Me" will still get 10 more weeks at least.

What about "Blind" by Lifehouse? Did that go up or down?

The records for most weeks on the R&R Hot AC chart is 71 weeks, set by "Drops of Jupiter" by Train. About 18 songs have spent at least 50 weeks on the Hot AC chart. If Lifehouse make it to 60 weeks, they would be in 6th place overall. ----
"Blind" inches up one notch to #21 on the 2/3 chart.

I have a feeling that's as far up as "Blind" will get on the chart. It's way better than "You and Me" in my opinion.

#1: “Photograph” holds at #1 for a 12th week
Oldest Song: “You and Me” continues to be the longevity champ with 51 weeks on.
Oldest Song(s) below the top 15: "I'm Feeling You" is the oldest song with 19 weeks.
Possibly Going to Recurrent: "You'll Think of Me" will go to recurrent if it falls below #15, which looks likely soon as the song falls to #15 this week.
Going to Recurrent: "I'm Feeling You" will go to recurrent after next week.
Biggest Movers: "Walk Away" moves 32-26 & "Dance, Dance" moves 39-33.
Debuts: Josh Kelley gets a 4th Hot AC hit as "Almost Honest" comes in at #38. Mariah Carey racks up an 11th hit with "Don't Forget about Us", which enters at #39. Live earns hit #5 with "The River" at #40. Live would only have to get past #35 to out-peak their last hit, "We Deal in Dreams".
Exiting the Survey: "The Great Divide" (13 weeks), "Our Last Night" (11 weeks), "Luxurious" (6 weeks)
Other Notes: Grammy winner Kelly Clarkson looks not to make to #1 with "Because of You" as the song slides to #3 after spending 6 weeks at #2. That means 3 out of the last 4 songs Kelly has charted with have peaked at #2. This is her longest run there (for a #2 peak). Is Train's "Cab" running out of gas? The song stalls at #16 this week. "Blind" slips back to #22 this week. Bon Jovi are poised to enter the top 20 soon. "Who Says You Can't Go Home", a current country hit, moves up 5 to #21. After vaulting up 11 last week, "Upside Down" remains at #29 this week in a tight part of the chart. KT Tunstall suffers a similar fate this week after moving up 7 to #31 last week.

I have a feeling that's as far up as "Blind" will get on the chart. It's way better than "You and Me" in my opinion. Well, I was wrong about that one. I think it's going to fall off the charts now.

#1: “Photograph” holds at #1 for a 13th week
Oldest Song: “You and Me” reaches a full year on the chart with 52 weeks. (although they actually debuted on the 2/11/05 chart).
Oldest Song(s) below the top 15: "I'm Feeling You" is the oldest song with 20 weeks.
Possibly Going to Recurrent: Other than below, nothing looks to be going to recurrent within 2 weeks.
Going to Recurrent: "I'm Feeling You" will go to recurrent next week.
Biggest Mover: After being the biggest mover 2 weeks ago, then stalling last week, "Upside Down" by Jack Johnson earns the title again, moving 29-23.
Debuts: Sheryl Crow hits the Hot AC chart for a 16th time as "Always on Your Side" enters at #31. Only Madonna has more Hot AC hits, with 17. Sheryl's song features Sting, who has hit 7 times before. He last appeared in 2003 with "Send Your Love". Keith Urban gets a 2nd chart hit as "Making Memories of Us" debuts at #37. Teddy Geiger debuts at #39 with "For You I Will (Confidence)". A similar song title hit the chart 9 years ago, when Monica was on with just "For You I Will".
Exiting the Survey: "You'll Think of Me" to recurrent (33 weeks), "Precious" (10 weeks), "Don't Forget about Us" (1 week). If Mariah does not re-enter the chart, she will be the first "one week wonder" since "Pieces" by Sum41 in April 2005.
Other Notes: Staind enter the top 10 in their 27th chart week with "Right Here". This breaks the record for longest wait to reach the top 10. The previous record was held by "Collide" with 22 weeks. Another song taking its time climbing up the chart is "Bad Day", which reaches #12 in its 19th chart week. Bon Jovi enter the top 20 with momentum, moving up 4 to #17. They have not made the top 10 since 1994's "Always". 'Ouch of the Week' Part I: Anna Nalick plummets down 8 notches to #26. 'Ouch of the Week' Part II: "Crazy" free falls 7 spots to #32. This is a rarity for a song that peaked in the top 10, especially if Alanis falls out before becoming recurrent.

#1: “You’re Beautiful” by James Blunt climbs to #1 this week, in its 22nd week on the chart.
Oldest Song: “You and Me” reaches 53 weeks this week.
Oldest Song below the top 15:“How Do You Love” with 19 weeks
Possibly Going to Recurrent: “Wake Me Up When September Ends” will go to recurrent as soon as it falls below #15, which may be soon.
Going to Recurrent:“How Do You Love” will go to recurrent in 2 weeks.
Biggest Mover: “Always on Your Side” vaults up 9 notches to #22.
Debuts: Nickelback score their 6th Hot AC hit with “Savin’ Me”, which enters at #35 as the highest debut. Pink returns to the top 40 for the first time in nearly 3 years with “Stupid Girls”. The song, her 6th chart hit, enters at #40. The song’s title is similar to a song by Garbage, “Stupid Girl”, but that song did not chart at Hot AC.
Exiting the Survey: “I’m Feeling You” to recurrent, 20 weeks on “Landing in London…”, 9 weeks on.
Other Notes: “You’re Beautiful” is not the song that took the longest to reach #1. That belongs to “Superman (It’s Not Easy)”, which took 25 weeks to reach #1. “Pretty Vegas” falls out of the top 10 after spending 4 weeks there, while “Wake Me Up When September Ends” falls out after 18 weeks in the top 10. Transportation titled songs are back to back in the top 15, with “Over My Head (Cable Car)” and “Cab” at numbers 12 and 13 respectively. “Walk Away” becomes Kelly Clarkson’s 5th top 20 single, as the song moves 22-20. “Blind” is pushed back again, this time to #23. It has logged 17 weeks on the chart. After being the biggest mover last week, Jack Johnson slips back a notch to #24. “Hung Up” dips 6 spots to #30, making it look like it will fall off the chart before becoming recurrent (16 weeks on so far).
