mms://66.186.0.101/allaccess/scotsurr.wma This is a huge step forwards compared to "The Great Divide", in my opinion. There's much more emotion in this one, and the buildup isn't exactly standard, so it's quite unique. I hope this will fare better. Watch him perform an acoustic version of it.

I also like this more than the title track.
It's a given already that Scott Stapp will never again touch the levels of success he had with Creed. Nevertheless, as much as I can't take Scott Stapp seriously as a person with his patterns of questionable behavior including the brawl with 311 and profanity on TV poker programs, "The Great Divide" isn't a bad album and this is certainly one of three tracks on the album that carry through.
With the way the album is floundering, there's arguably no clue in where this single is going. If this had been released during the Creed years, this would most likely have become the second-biggest hit of their career behind only "With Arms Wide Open".
With that said, this sounds at least it can go somewhere, but don't hold your breath either.
