I'm assuming this is going to impact HAC, and I think this is their biggest hit here. I can see this fighting with "Ever The Same" in the winter for the peak position. Easily the most HAC-friendly song they've done.
Opinions?

Terrible group. I haven't heard the song but I've read that it's mellow so I'm sure it'll do well on HotAC.

I've always wondered why it's alright for rappers & hip hoppers to sing cheesy stuff and Mariah who I love as an artist I add to sing lovey dovey stuff but ROCKERS can't have a sensitive side or they are sell outs. It takes more talent to touch a billion hearts then to just play aggressive power chords with angry lyrics to an all men audience that will never be as big as Top 40. I say cheers to Top 40 Rock. I love catchy rock but it always gets criticized but Nickelbacks the one cashing the checks.....:)

Then I saw them live. I realized after seeing them live how good they really are, I've liked them ever since. Good song writing, heartfelt lyrics, fantastic live show. Their last album was easily their best though. Silver Side Up still strikes me as a very boring record.

Its always ok for some rappers/r&b'ers to have nonsense songs(Hey Ya, In da Club just 2 examples) which have absolutely NO meaning to them, but when it comes to rock artists having maybe not-so-good songs, even though they wrote them themselves, its not ok? I don't like double-standard stuff. I rather have a badly written song on the radio and you can still figure out what its supposed to mean, then a totally garbage song, that means nothing in my ears.

I don't mind black eyed peas cause atleast they are catchy but 50 cent and stuff like that, i love hot ac and top 40 music from 50's and elvis right up to 2001 then Hot AC has gotten better every year. It really is becoming the traditional top 40.

I love Nickelback and saw them in concert. They may not always have the PERFECT song, but don't ALL bands have at least one "bad" song? I think it takes more effort for a musician to play, write and sing there own tune and have it IMperfect, then it does to have someone write a song for someone and have it be perfect. That's just my opinion though....

I like this band's other hits but this is the final straw for me. This is just them trying a little too hard. Thumbs down. :(

hehehe, it was given to me as a present. I loved the song 'How You Remind Me' and 'Too Bad' so I guess they got me the present cause of that and I never got around to listening to it :).
Someday and Figured You Out were really annoying IMHO.. although that song after Figured You Out (the title escapes me now..) wasn't too bad :)

GG... with less then half the panel. With 39 stations, it's already +282. This is going to be a smash. It hasn't even been sent for adds yet.

Look out for this one - it's very good. Very memorable melody, and not annoying-sounding like most of their other stuff. I can't get it out of my head.
'Cept the song glorifies robbery in the lyrics...

I don't really care for some of the lyrics, but overall I like this.

Ragin - It had 60 spins last week on AAA. With around 6 stations on AAA adding it. Not a bad start for AAA.
Disappeared off the new and active this week tho. Knowing AAA, it will come back again.

4 1 NICKELBACK Photograph 3052 2738 314 18.410 2 2 GREEN DAY Wake Me Up When Sept... 3048 2900 148 18.825
Just passed Green Day for #1, it looks like they have no competition until the Goo Goo Dolls can make it, currently at #10. I'd also watch Kelly Clarkson, "BOY" seems to be taking off very well.
Is it just me, Hot AC seems to be having a little bit more chart movement recently.
