Many certainly hated her last album pretty badly, particularly because she had quite a positive reputation in her lo-fi days of "Exile In Guyland" and such, and many saw the hi-fi pop move as a total sell-out.
Still, she got by with plenty of airplay, off of "Why Can't I?" in particular, with "Extraordinary" not doing too bad.
This should likely go Top 20 regardless.
Sincerely, Noah Eaton

I, for one, loved her last album, and hope this is more in the style of "Liz Phair" than her earlier material.

Ew.... I heard clips of this and some other songs a while back. They were dreadful. I didn't like her last album THAT much compared to her others, but this is bad even compared to THAT!!

:( I miss the old Liz. I don't care how many times it's been said.
If I heard this from another artist, I'd like it though. It's catchy. But knowing it's from the same artist that gave me Fuck and Run, and Flower, and Mesmerize, and 6'1"... it's hard to like this.

Liz Phair has lost it.
I really used to like her because she was bold, brave and lyrically orally fixated. It made her a very entertaining musical personality.
Now she just sounds.....ordinary. Predictable. Incredibly popish.
Sincerely, Noah Eaton

Hi everyone, I like the new stuff been a fan since Guyville. It's totally different but so am I now a days. These cuts are more "Liz" sounding than the overproduced pop songs on her last album. Hey check out this retrospective on Liz and you will hear 5 clips from her new album including "Everything to Me" and the title track "Somebody's Miracle." Can't wait...enjoy! boss.streamos.com/download/capi001/lizphair/epk_sm/lizphair_epk_300.mov

Hmmm...
I have to admit, after watching that EPK, I'm a little more interested in the album. And it makes me appreciate Liz's recent style more. Not to say I like it more, but I can see where she's coming from.

11 adds this week.
The first 10 seconds of the clip sounded promising. Too bad the rest of it didn't.

Why did she become such a cheese ball?

Quite a beautiful, sweet song. It's doing quite well in its first full week.
22+ stations have picked it up. Can't wait to hear the rest of this album. It is No. 3 just behind Sheryl Crow's "Good is Good" and 3 Doors Down's "Here By Me" in Taking Off.

I've heard the rest of the album and this is by far the worst song. Terrible choice. "Count On My Love", although still a cheesy pop song, would've done far better.

Yes, the new album is actually really good. I'll be getting it on the day of the release, for sure. It's miles ahead of her self-titled and I think it might be my favorite after Guyville. This is THE WORST song on there, for sure.

I wouldn't count her out yet! Her bullet seems to have picked up a little bit into the 70's and it has landed in the top 30. I loved her last album and while this song really isn't that great, I want Liz to have success.

I saw her video this morning on VH1. I liked it. Phil Harder usually does a pretty good job.
I give the song a B.
