Great song should have gone a little higher on the charts.

Good chorus, mediocre verse.

Great song should have gone a little higher on the charts. I agree...I heard this at a KFC here in NJ. Eating my Snacker® and listening to "Eleanor"...yes.

Heard this one this morning (on VH1 I think). Awfully bland and the lyrics are fairly average. Don't particularly care for this song.

I heard this once on The Coast in Benton Harbor. It's a pretty good song, but nothing out of the ordinary.

Wow, quite surprisingly, I heard this song for the first time yesterday. I heard it at Wonderland. They always play music videos when people are waiting to get on rides. And I heard this and instantly fell in love with this. I know this is old, but where did it peak at Hot/Ac?

As I recall, it peaked in the high 20s. It sort of dog-paddled around in the 20-30 range before being removed via the recurrent rule.

I really enjoyed this song when it came out and it will now always remind me of KFC.

I'm baffled how "Statue" has gotten more airplay than "Eleanor" (well, at Hot AC anyway)
"Eleanor" is much more melodic and catchy. Reminds me of a Fountains of Wayne single.
"Statue" just doesn't deliver to my ears the way "Eleanor" does.
Sincerely, Noah Eaton

However, on Triple A, Im surprised Statue is going higher. I thought Statue is a perfect song for Triple A as its got both a soft and slightly rock edge to the song. However, Eleanor I thought was a bit heavier but has so far fetched a lot higher on the Triple A charts. Both awesome songs tho and its a toss up between what single is better. I wish the band success in the future! JB
