Cover of Tom Petty's song. The album is a GH.

She covered Greenwheel pretty well, so hopefully this will sound just as good. Is there a track listing for her Greatest Hits?

It's very acoustic. I don't really like it much.

MELISSA ETHERIDGE Refugee Producer(s): John Shanks Writer(s): T. Petty, M. Campbell Publisher(s): Almo (ASCAP) Genre: ROCK Label/Catalog Number: Island (CD promo) Source: Billboard Magazine Originally Reviewed: July 23, 2005
Melissa Etheridge takes on Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers' "Refugee" as the first single from her forthcoming greatest-hits album, "The Road Less Traveled." While the Petty original had an uncluttered, solid groove and a fairly uptempo beat, Etheridge goes the slow-burn, jangle-rock route. She and producer John Shanks throw in a mess of guitars and turn the song into a semi-personal anthem for Etheridge. While the singer's radio fortunes have faded over time, her stellar Grammy Awards performance earlier this year might make programmers take a second listen. —Keith Caulfield

I don't like this.
Its like, the 'Give A Little Bit' for 2005 :). I don't think its the greatest cover in the world, but I've never been a fan of cover material.
Anyway, I think it'll go to around #10 on AAA.
