We do this for Pop pretty often but I just realized this hasn't been done here yet (I don't think).
These songs were all recently released to the format, or will be soon. How high do you think they'll get?
Gwen Stefani - "Cool" Rob Thomas- "This Is How A Heart Breaks" Sheryl Crow - "Good Is Good" Mariah Carey - "We Belong Together" Daniel Powter - "Bad Day" Bon Jovi - "Have A Nice Day" Coldplay - "Fix You" Green Day - "Wake Me Up When September Ends" Dave Matthews Band - "Dreamgirl" Jack Johnson - "Good People" James Blunt - "You're Beautiful" The Killers - "All These Things That I've Done" Foo Fighters - "Best Of You" Jem - "Just A Ride" The Perishers f/ Sarah McLachlan - "Pills" David Gray - "The One I Love"

Cool predictions Noah. We're pretty much the same, but wow, one thing that really sticks out on yours is your prediction for "Fix You."

I don't generally watch HAC so I would be really off to try predicting. But I will say I think Josh Kelley's "Only You" will reach #8.

Cool predictions Noah. We're pretty much the same, but wow, one thing that really sticks out on yours is your prediction for "Fix You." "Fix You" just isn't that radio-friendly to begin with. Considering "The Scientist" was stuck below the Top 20, I don't see this doing any better. Besides that, I believe they want "Speed of Sound" to blend in here for a while, and they're basically going to hold this over until the third single is released, which I bet will also have crossover appeal ("A Message", "Swallowed In The Sea", possibly "White Shadows") Sincerely, Noah Eaton

I want to make it interesting too in adding other singles:
Hootie & The Blowfish: "One Love" 3 Doors Down: "Here By Me" Switchfoot: "Stars"
Here's my predictions
Hootie & The Blowfish: "One Love": #16 (This single is off to a considerably better start than "Innocence" was as a lead from their last album. It barely missed the Top 20, and being a Top 5 Greatest Gainer right now, as well as the 90's epidemic happening, I believe it will be enough to push this into the Top 20 even when the odds are very much against them for a full-fledged comeback.)
3 Doors Down: "Here By Me" #3
Switchfoot: "Stars" #7
Sincerely, Noah Eaton

Hootie & The Blowfish: "One Love" #14 : I think this will easily reach the Top20 , but once it has it will slow down like so many singles do .
3 Doors Down: "Here By Me" #8 : They seem to be even more popular on HotAC than they're on Pop . So this will do better here than on CHR , where it doubt it will go Top20.
Switchfoot: "Stars" #20 : If it does well on CHR and Alt it might even go Top10 , but I doubt this will do much on CHR.

Haven't looked at anyone else's predictions, so I'm probably way off the consensus on a few of them. And I haven't been the most faithful follower of Hot AC lately...
