www.mmr247.com/mmrweb/AllAccess/stations.asp?c_let=WKRQ-FMThis station is clearly a Pop station. 76 plays a week for Black Eyed Peas, plus Will Smith, Pussycat Dolls, Usher, Papa Roach etc. are all on the playlist. Plus the very fact that songs in general are getting 70+ spins is very Pop, not very HAC. It's almost as if a playlist doesn't have 40% Rhythmic songs, its not even Pop.

Once upon a time, WKRQ was a pop station before WKFS came along.

Once upon a time, WKRQ was a pop station before WKFS came along. Oh it's still a Pop station despite what Mediabase calls it.

Well, to be fair, there was a phase Q102 went through when they really were a Hot AC. They were playing no rap whatsoever. It's not as if Mediabase classified the station based on this week's playlist.
Usually it takes a while for Mediabase to notice these gradual changes. If the station keeps moving in the Pop direction, they'll switch panels. Patience. Remember how long WQCH was on the Rhythmic panel and playing Kelly Clarkson and Gavin Degraw.
