Dan's Notes
*First of all, I love the fact that Ryan records this so early in the week so that if anything happens, he makes no mention of it. Example - 3 additional Live 8 concerts announced, yet he referes to only the original 5.
*I don't know if "The Freshmen" was once used as an Extra sometime in the past, of if it's being used on the regular pop version of the chart, but before he intros the song, Ryan says "right before I get to #30," when he should be going to #10.
*On the topic of the pop version of AT40, good lord! Avril, followed by Jesse, followed by Kelly, followed by the Backstreet Boys? HotAC is letting it's guard down!
*How unfair is it to the Killers that "Mr. Brightside" is #11 this week. I mean, you KNOW it won't go Top 10. "Mr. Brightside" is not what your mother would listen to, so look for it to drop next week.
*How much additional money will Bowling For Soup's label pay AT40 to get them Top 20 next week? 'Cause they must have spent a fortune just getting them as high as they have.
*I love that Mraz had the highest debut of the year last week, and this week, Avril jumps over him.
