*Thank God! Ryan made several references that this is the 35th birthday of AT40, and played a clip of the very first #1 on the chart back in 1970,
*Last week I was going to point out that there were plenty of songs toward the bottom of the chart just waiting to drop out this week, and more than a handful did, leading us to 4 new entries, the most during any one week this year.
*F-in' surprise! The Killers didn't make Top 10.
*They played a short version of "Boulevard Of Broken Dreams"! The whole second verse was cut out of the song. They had done something similar with Ryan Cabrera's "On The Way Down" a few months ago, but I didn't think anything of it. Damn!
