They haven't been trying for AC success because all three singles so far have been too upbeat for AC, especially "Stupid". That's my point. If they intended an AC-only release from the album, it would've been sent out around the time "Stupid" was sent to HAC. They're being dumb and BLIND by wasting an opportunity here.

Love your avatar and banner! Please post more!!!Β ThanksΒ I just found this place today, actually, and I liked it a lot. I was searching for anything on the World On Fire radio mix.. I had saw the World On Fire single on iTunes, and there were two tracks on it. So I bought the other version of World On Fire (It is 3:48 long) , but it doesn't say what version it exactly is.. It's just entitled "World On Fire". I assumed that it's the radio mix, but then I was looking back on the past pages on this thread (page 1 or 2 I believe) and there was a link to listen to it, stating that it was the Junkie XL remix. But I have the Stupid single CD and there's a Junkie XL remix on there that's like 12 minutes long so then I figured that's a shorter version of it or something. And THEN I stumbled onto launch.com and saw World On Fire listed under her CD's there, and it said that the CD had four tracks, the Original CD version, the Radio mix, the Junkie XL remix and then a 'Call Out Mix'. I'm very confused... It's my favorite song on her record, to say the least :)

The call out mix is just a 30 second clip of the chorus that stations get sent so they can decide whether or not they want to add the song to their playlist.

Ah, ok, that's cleared up then. The clip that I was talking about was this one: www2.allaccess.com/sounds/sarawojr.ramIt's the same thing I bought from iTunes that was on the World On Fire single CD.

Well, Sarah is now up to #15 with WOF! But without a bullet. However, she'll definitely get the bullet back up next weekend after Labor Day specials flatten out. It's just a question of how long she can keep her bullet up and how well she can fend off the 4 songs competing directly below her.

311 is falling fast enough that "World On Fire" might even be able to sneak up to #14 for next week's chart.

"World On Fire" debuts at #28 at Triple A, already beating the peak of "Stupid".
It holds at #16 for a second week in a row at Hot AC.

Is WOF ever going to go for adds on Triple A or AC.
I don't even think they should have released Stupid to AC, but instead waited for WOF to be released on Hot Ac, then relase it.
1985 is slowing down big time on POP, hopefully that will happen here to, so just 3 songs would pass WOF, and when they do pass WOF, if they do maybe like 2 songs will fall below WOF, so that WOF doesn't drop a spot.

I like it. The original is better than than the remix. I like it more than "Fallen" and "Stupid".

There's another remix on the Will & Grace Soundtrack. That's the Marius Devries remix. It gives it a less "depressing" feel I guess. It's more upbeat while not really being dance.

I agree. Amazing video. I hope it can push the song to Top 10 at least.

It looks like "World On Fire" has peaked. Despite it's +203 bullet, Bowling For Soup just passed it and Ryan Cabrera and Seether are right behind with bigger bullets.

I can't believe you would give up on it so soon. Also, Ryan Cabrera and Seether are more than 95 spins behind and gaining only 59 and 46 spins more respectively. That's hardly "right behind with bigger bullets". I think she can overtake Nickelback and Bowling For Soup next week to reach #14. Possibly.

Down to +139 :(
This is the best song to hit the format in years.... what the hell.
Why can't Sarah do a radio-station promotional tour? That would surely help.

Hmm... I LOVED "Fallen" and "Stupid" (Fallen was awesome and easily one of the best songs of this year). But I was a bit disappointed when Sarah McLachlan released this song. Sorry, but it just doesn't catch on to me. I still love her though.

I think the opening line to this song is among the best few songs on radio this year. I like it almost as much as 'Fallen' and tons more than 'Stupid'. Smash hit for me. I think it can keep chugging!

My favorite is Stupid, but I loved all her singles from this last album. World On Fire should definitly be a Top 5 hit, it's a shame radio isn't playing her as much as they should.

At first, I thought the video looked terrible... until I realized that that was the point. That video was incredibly smart, and actually made me like the song that much more. Don't give up yet...

It's bullet keeps dropping! Maybe this song will let OTWD and Broken pass it, then slowly rise up until it hits #1, but that doesn't look it will happen.
What would have happened if this had been the 1st single?

I feel that any first single would have done as well as "Fallen". Hot AC gave her comeback the time of day but couldn't care less about any of the follow-up releases.
