Keane's on Saturday Night Live tonight! Yay! What did they perform? "Somewhere Only We Know"? I know they performed "Everybody's Changing" too because it was on just as I was getting home. They kicked ass with it too.

First song was "Somewhere Only We Know." They sounded great, but "Everybody's Changing" was even better. The crowd reception was very enthusiastic (OK, I'm sure there was a least a little relief that Paris was off the stage mixed in ).

It was kind of endearing. (Hey, I'm a fan of Rob Thomas so I know all about awkward stage presence ) . But he has such a beautiful and unique voice. And it was interesting to see the keyboard guy jamming out. Can't wait to see them in ten days! Yay!

They sounded and looked great. Good performance for them. My only critique is that they all (the lead singer mostly because he was the one up there with no instrument) seemed a little nervous/inexperienced. But thats not a big deal-its not like it was embarassingly obvious.
Wish I could see them in concert sometime.

this is really starting to move into medium to heavy rotation on many stations. I think this could possibly go Top 10, maybe even Top 5 with a Top 30 success at POP, where it is heating up as well.

I thought the SNL performance was really good. I don't buy many albums from new artists, but I went out and got Hopes and Fears yesterday. I really like it. I can listen to the album without pressing skip... Nothing really spactacular, but overall a good album from start to finish.
I hope Keane continues to get more airplay with "Somewhere Only We Know."

My Hot AC station has upped their spins of this song in the last week. Yay! I can say I like every song on the album.
I was reading Rolling Stone Mag. today and Gwen Stefani was asked what other artists she's into lately. She at first said that she didn't listen to CDs cuz she's a radio girl. But then she said that her manager gave her the Keane CD and she is loving it! That must have been fun for the guys from Keane to hear!

I first heard SOWK on WXPK from Westchester las year and I was hooked. I bought the album and I'm glad they are getting the exposure. The fact they don't use guitars is a little unusal (to me at least).
